Yeah I consider each one of those guys at a late first rounder, ESPECIALLY Earl T.

So IF Ricky is really retiring after 2010... when should we take a RB?

RESPONSE: Even with Ricky getting old and Ronnie being chronically injured.

I say Jahvid Best if we can. I think he is Chris Johnson with maybe less power but more moves and almost as much speed.

We should dedicate and early choice 1-4 on a good RB prospect.

Yes, but not until the 4th round (earliest). We have too many more pressing needs than RB. We could still land a decent player in the 4th round. We got Hilliard in the 6th, and I think a combination of his power running with a quick guy that can get around the end could give us a decent running game for the future. Behind our O-Line we don't necessarily need Eric Dickerson.

Toby Gerhart with our 1st pick. We draft Gerhart we instantly become the best power running team in the entire league. We draft Gerhart were a playoff team next season.

Time to trade some of our guys..like Ronnie Brown for a real deal..non injury prone RB. I truly am all about getting it done and just buy..swap talen to get the pieces to take a run at the SB. Once we get there you know you win it and then your out for awhile..so why not buy talent now

GERHART has shown me alot in the games I watched this year. I like the idea of his addition, but definately NOT IN THE 1ST ROUND! eye rolling smiley He'll be sitting there in round 2 or 3, seriously IMHO.thumbs up

HILLIARD has something to offer, in fact we may have too many RBs next season.

Lets get serious today's game has shown us how ineffective our pass rush is and how we are in desperate need of a ILB. And with this defeat and the potentail for an 8-8 record.

Our DRAFT position is looking pretty decent to nab some talent at some crutial positions.

The 49ers have 2 picks early in the first and it'd be nice to find a trade partner to move even closer to ILB McCLAIN.
