In half a season, one in which he got waived by one team, Chris Chambers had 3 TD catches. When was the last time we had a WR with at least 3 TD catches in an entire season? 2006, Chris Chambers had 4 and Marty Booker had 6. What are the odds that one of our guys this year will get to that magic number 3?

yeah, and a 54 yarder to boot. Didn't someone on this board say sucked? Someone else say he was finished? A bunch of others say "no way" to us signing him?

Oh yeah...they did.

I never commented about chambers, but I will now. I have always been a big fan of chambers, and would love to see him as a fin, but I don't know how well he would do with what we currently have.. He would be the double covered receiver and he has a hard time getting open, but on the flip side that may free someone else up.... As long as that someone else can catch the ball...

Chambers opposite Ginn would have made it difficult for a Defense to play 9 in the box against the run.

though not the optimal man for the job, Chambers would have been the big game threat needed across from Ginn... it was a mistake not signing him. Chambers/Ginn/Bess ... im hoping we can bring a guy like D Bowe in during the off season, and dont give up on Ginn

I don't think we could've signed him. KC claimed him off waivers and was ahead of us because of their worse record. It was a moot point.

Dang! Oh well. At least I'm not mad at our front office for not trying.

I was just about to post the same thing. I heard it on the radio.

Anyone else see that catch by Camarillo at the end, that was tight... I think we should bump Ginn to #2 and try running primary receiver duties with Cam, couldn't hurt, right?

These threads make me laugh, oohhh chambers has ONE good game finally after 3 years and now he is the man... I am a HUGE chambers fan, maybe one of my fav receivers of all times. But he is a bum, a concement under achiever. he has a 45 inch vertical (3rd most in combine history), so graceful when he catches the ball lookin like lynn swann, and good speed. How he is not a 1000 yard receiver every year is beyond me.

Now that he had a solid game watch how he makes like Houdini and disappears for the rest of the year... The reppa has spoken. BUM!!!

And yet, he has more TD catches this season than all of our WR combined.

I did not say I want Chambers, it just would've been nice to have his numbers from his last game.

Yup... I call it like I see it. Like I said this guy has all the tools to be great, i think the problem is unlike the real greats like TO, Anquin, ocho, when chambers gets open and does not get the ball he does not say anything so the qb does not look his way. Say what you want about the "its all about me guys" but that is the attitude of a great player. What do you think a guy like brandon marshall is saying in a big game and it is late in the 3rd quarter and the qb has not thrown him the ball yet? YOu dont think he will have something to say in the huddle? Now what about chambers? If he was more vocal and had more passion he would be one of the greatest wr in dolphin history, I am sure.

But for you comment, the reppa is NOT a bandwagon person. I dont jump on people because they have alot of momentum. For example in the late 1990's people were on kobe, dunkun, garnett, carter, t-mac, the hill, Iverson, but my fav basket ball players were michael finely and nic van axel. Thats how I am, i take the road less traveled... yes the reppa has his own mind and uses it...
