Looks like he's out for Tampa game (and possibly longer). This hurts because he's been probably our most consistent lineman.. and the line in general has been fairly inconsistent. Garner and Murtha seem likely to step in... anyone know anything about either of these guys that will make me less nervous about possibly losing Smilie for an extended period of time?

this guy is always hurt. We need to make sure we keep adressing the O-line in the draft.

he is our new Mark Dixon. Great when healthy, problem is he never healthy.

Season is over anyway, no need to rush him back this year.

I'm sure glad we drafted Jon Nablone instead of Duke Robinson or another OG

good call with the Dixon comparison
Jon Geisler was also like that, good when he played but always injured

Like the Colts this year actually. Peyton has already won the MVP and its only week 10. That dude is amazing. He is an eraser for that team. For the faults they have, Peyton makes them all go away. They are gonna be tough to beat in my opinion.

Yeah, I was worried about Smiley, which is one reason why I was so disappointed we got rid of Samson Satele. I was also hoping Murphy would work out. Now we're in a tough spot.

Isn't Satele the one with the horrible team attitude? I honestly don't know if it was him, but I do remember us getting rid of a lineman that did have some sort of team concept issue.

It wasn't Satele. You're probably thinking of Soliai. He was disciplined a few times for his lack of effort, but he's still with the team.
