Our Dolphins face the Bengals (away game) this Sunday afternoon at 4pm. This last pre-season game sets the tone for our first game against NE. Certainly, a concern, as it always seems to be, is the strength of the O-line. Will this group of players gel into a competitive unit? I find it tough to tell from the few pre-season games thus far, yet there's a possibility that the O-line could be quite formidable. All of us would like to see that, for sure.

Tua's play is improving--that's visible. Our RBs also seem to be running well in pre-season so that's a good sign.

Defensively, I don't think pre-season has tested our players and I am not sure the Bengals will provide a significant challenge to them. We need to watch and see which D players really step it up.

Looks like tua wont play this sunday. Im seeing pre season especially to watch tua so its going to be a boring game.

And the starting receiving unit is not playing either.

No fun watching scrubs play.

Can't wait til the regular season starts.

Maybe tua is the icing on the cake we needed.

Most of the starters will sit & I'm ok with that. I'd rather the starters be healthy for the season opener plus it's important for the staff to see who's going to survive the cut.

Guess who's DEFINITELY going to the playoffs? Tennessee 3 yrs straight.

They have the best running game a one of the best defense in football. Thats the reason they are in the playoffs.

Mediocre defense actually.thats there weak point. And one of the best passing percentages in the NFL.

Only thing good about watching the scrubs play Sunday is they are fighting for a position anywhere. They are coming out swinging.

I was watching some guy's analysis of Tua's preseason games, and 3 things struck me:

1. how many of the sample plays he used showed Tua converting 3rd down (and often long, 6+) through the air. I didn't count, but just noticed it as I was watching.

2. how effective the short passing game seemed to be. Last year, it seemed like the short passing game was sort of a concession...this year there are short passes in space with YAC. I'm hoping it's design and personnel that pressure defenses deep allowing short passing game to be more than a clogged up mess.

3. his mobility in the pocket. He was sliding, zigging, zagging...and buying time for things to open up.

All that said, it's just preseason...we'll see when the real bullets start flying.

Tenesse weakest position is the qb position. Tannehill provef it in the playoffs last year with that game ending int.

Then why didn't Miami even make the playoffs the year Ricky Williams lead the NFL? He was the NFL's leading rusher with 1,853 yards, a First-Team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler.......and we went 9-7. Doad's had a great game as well as did Merritt. I havnt enjoyed a pre season game that much in a while.
