Pittsburgh is now considered dumb for resting players against browns in the final game of the season.

Brown win that game.

Pitts let the browns into the postseason.

Yes the browns.....same team who eliminates pittsburgh in the first round.

Pittsburgh is now know as one of the dumbest teams in the nfl.

Thats why you dont rest players ever. Whatever happens happens. Injuries are part of the game.

I grew up in the Northeast. I'm a Dolphins fan through and through.....but I grew up loving Terry Bradshaw and the Steel Curtin. I'm a Huge Pittsburg fan.

First 14 seconds into the game the Center Pouncy (who is usually rock solid) hiked the ball into the endszone on the opening snap. Biggest bonehead play from a playoff team I've ever seen.

Ben Roethlisberger through for 501 yards and four touchdown passes. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson both totaled well over 100 receiving yards. Problem was.....he had 4 turnovers. The Browns and scored on every one of them. Some were good passes , that last one was not. The running game was still basically non-existent however the Steelers were down so much they couldn't run the ball. Drops were still an issue for a majority of the receivers.

The defense was rested, they brought back Robert Spillane, the only people that were missing were Joe Haden on the COVID list and Bud Dupree and Devin Bush who are both recovering from torn ACLs. ....but this game was lost completely on an offense who kept turning the ball over.

Coaching was terrible as well. Choosing to live in your fears and punt in bad situations is unforgivable. It’s the playoffs you have to play to win the game........especially when you are down by 14-16 points.

This had nothing to do with resting players were were injured on the defense. All to do with 5 turnovers by the offense.

If the Jets pass on Fields at the QB position the Steelers might be a team looking to pay us big time to move up for a QB in Big Bens's last contract year . winking smileydrinking smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Resting players had everything to do with it.

If they beat the browns on that last regular season game the browns dont make playoffs.

They probably beat dolphins easily.

The steelers were slapped twice by the browns. You always play to win.

Always play to win? Do I have to pull up post after post of you condoning a loss for better draft positions? Lol.

How do you blame players who were injured on the defense for turnovers made by the offense?

Explain please. No bullshit.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

There is a diffence when you are out of playoffs and you are in the playoffs.

Steelers got what they deserved for resting players.

It came back to bite them in their butt.

but how did resting defensive players....ones that are legitimately hurt BTW.......... explain why the offense turned the ball over 5 times?

You try to win all the time. You dont rest your star qb if he is healthy.

Big Ben? When was he rested? Are you talking about a different game then last night? He threw for 501 yds BTW......but the 5 turnovers , 3 that were not his fault was something the Browns just took advantage of.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

You know who the best player on that field was last night?

Jarvis Landry. Seriously. Hes a huge playmaker. He just makes shit happen. HUGE mistake not resigning him here.

You take that one player out of the mix and the Steelers win even with 5 turnovers. Do you see a demanding physical receiver like that in the draft?

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

The game was as close as it was because the Browns mostly played soft defense in the secondary from the first quarter on trying to milk the clock. This allowed the Steelers to throw much more easily.
