Well I have to throw my opinion out there, and am not sure if people will like it. I am not sad to see him leave. This defense was terrible, yes I know that injuries played a part in it. But It was blatantly unguided and out of control. The same as cincy was at the end the year before. No discipline and zero adjustments when needed. I for one would love to see old Rex here. A complete genius for defense, terrible head coach. And while on the subject I would love to see pouncey and albert gone as well. I dont care how great you are, if you cant get on the field it doesnt really matter. You can find serviceable centers at half the cost that will be there all 16 games. Move smokestack to tackle and sign a guard. Thanks for any input.
As long as we bring in a guy with a good workable system I'm all for it...I was never totally hot on Joseph as a DC anyway. JMO, but NO to Rex Ryan in Miami.
We have to fix our O-Line too this off season...Our O-Line was ranked 30th this season.
Ja'Wuan James was our highest rated overall O-Line player at #30 league wide. (He was also rated #18 in run blocking) Our top pass blocking player was Laremy Tunsil at #40 league wide.
Bushrod was the worst rated OG league wide and allowing 5 sacks, 34 QB pressures,
Matt Burke spent a couple of years w/ Joseph in Cincy so he should know his defense.Phins promoting him is maintaining continuity. This way we keep the same defense.

You mean like when Philbin went through 3 Offensive coordinators in Tannehils 5 seasons?
you think mmmmmmmaybe that hampered his success just a bit? And he still managed 4000 yds . Our defense has hampered us for a while now. GASE will get it straight.

Ryan is a hell of a DC, but because of his personality and his being a HC for the last six(?) years, I feel he should sit out a year. He will, early on, have a hard time being the DC, and not the HC.
I don't wish to see Pouncey and Albert gone as they helped form a solid OL. However, because of their injury history and age (Albert), they should renegotiate their contracts. Saying that, Miami should look for solid backups and also the draft (not necessarily Miami's first pick) to ensure bodies are there that can fill in and hopefully take over somewhere down the line.

Forever the defense attorney....You know what Chyrene? Who gives a flying F*** what he said 3-4 yrs ago?
We have a QB Now , last season that threw for 4000Yds. Your going to compare Chad Henne to Ryan Tannehill? He was chubby. He couldnt run for shit and averaged 2000Yd seasons with how many INT's. His only saving grace was he had Jake Long in his prime keeping him from getting sacked.
Fast forward to Tanny you have a QB doing many great things. Fine I have different excuses for why the last 4 seasons didn't go great for the Team. Difference of opinion. I get it.
But this season we kicked ASS. After a bad start we came back and Tannehill had some amazing moments/games. And Simple Sammy couldn't acknowledge that , you either if it killed you. You and you Pocket passer bullshit , and him with his B.S nicknames. The negativity you both were spewing about the past was inappropriate.
3-4-6 even 10 seasons ago we would have KILLED for a 4000 yd passer. a guy who also runs 3-400 yds as well . Sammy demands a superbowl or he is a POS!!? really? You defend that?
I guess Dan Marino was a POS too? And you defend him yet. recklessly too I might add. Then you dont even have the Nuts to make a bet about a Tagline next season. LOL. You either need to put up or shut up my friend.
MEOW.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Chyren, hello friend. we go back along way and you have always had my back, I am going on record as agreeing with your opinions and insight. I see that the forum and board has not changed! why as a group of fans we cannot voice our opinions without ridicule from those that dont agree? TC i know nothing of you or about you other than you are along time member and poster, but for christs sake if you dont know the difference between a prosecutor and a defense attorney you really should not judge what the hell this man says. And further more, Marino was a damn QB god. In all his years playing, he had 1 season with a 1k rusher. Yes was immobile as a brick wall and still, still still threw more tds than anyone else, and had a defense ranked in top 10 only 4 times. Tanny is good but with his running ability and his running backs, he still cant come close to sniffing marinos jockstrap. So seriously chill out and let people say what they want to say and quite being an ass.
Glad to see you on the board again, Fiedlerhater. Oh, I'm sure Treasure was just teasing me. He also probably would not rate Tanny anywhere as near as good as Marino.....would you, TC?
Hahaha, no sir, absolutely not a debate or argument here, just a little debate. I am certainly not too worried about the QB, way to many holes to fill.
