You know what? JC you have always been nothing but a pure gentleman to me. I apologize for my last post.

Some good people here. What a great season! We have alot to look forward to.

But the negativity here is an issue for me. I get it when we had coaches like Saprano and Philbin and we signed every back up in the league to play QB ......But we have some pretty great players to be damned proud of. A 6 game winning streak and some here cant be proud of that.

Even when we do good its not enough. The glass is more then half full. But many here choose to see it empty. Maybe its their personal life thats overflowing into their posts? I should know better.

TIP for real Dolphins fans: Make Lemonade out of today.......All stores will post Dolphins gear at 50% tomorrow.

OLA Sam. Great month end of the season for you. Tannehill hurt and you get the board to yourself to shit all you want like a 11 yr old German Shepard with the runs.

Next year you can bet we win the AFC east. Lots of other boards share that feeling. Good luck.........

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I'm not sure we can win the division next year.

Reasons: We have an absolutely brutal schedule and while we have closed the gap on the Pat's, I'm not so sure that we are completely on par with them talent wise, or schematically...yet.

RT will have to take another step for this to happen and so will Parker, Carroo, Drake, Grant and Williams. Beyond that we have significant holes to fill and guy's like Quddus, Howard and Stills must continue to improve. Then if all of that happens we have to get lucky injury wise. Our draft has got to contribute significantly, immediately and with quality too. It may be an order too tall.

Having Jordan come back with his head on straight and motivated would also make the job a bit easier as well because the right side of our DL MUST learn to get off of blocks and apply pressure to QB's freeing Suh of constant double teams and allowing Wake to not be chipped or slowed down on his way to the QB.

That said, I'd love nothing more than to be proven wrong about all of this.

I tend to agree, Ken but this coaching staff can't be overlooked. We had no business making the playoffs with this roster but they changed the culture of this team.

I think they're building something here to resemble NE....a plug and play system where we don't need to rely on big FA signings every year and re-signing our own or getting compensation for them.

They drafted Stills replacement last year moving up to get Caroo. He needs to use this offseason to learn how to be a pro. Grant and Drake the same. They're all weapons that need to contribute next year.

Getting our starting safties back next year is a huge upgrade. Now concentrate on DE and LB I read Jordan has more "issues" now and will be cut this offseason so I wouldn't hold out much hope for him. Wake is getting old. Need his replacement on the roster. Williams is gone. They want to re-sign Branch but he'll want to get paid.

I think the future is bright for no other reason than I think we finally found a Coach.

I dont think that he could do better than what he did at the end of this year. And that was good enough to take us to the playoffs.

I take that anyday...Hopefully he can do well next year and stay healthy.

Chren hit a nail in the head when he said.....Quote: When he becomes a deer in the headlight....thats one of the times i call him a wet firecracker....If i have to take just one more 12 yard loss when he is sacked...I will go through the roof.

Throw the dam ball away.

Thanks TCPF and I could have dialed down the snark factor myself, in my reply to you.

You are a true, supportive fan and that is the most important thing.

Tip-o-the-hat to you, sir.

Being able to attend Phins games is one of the two things I miss about South Florida (the other being tolerable surf temperatures).

Yes we have a very good group currently.

Samsam I count you in the 'good people' group, you are a fan too and I know you and TCPF do not take these discussions personally.

GO PHINS

2016 roster was better than the 2015, gotta give the front roster credit. Hopefully the front office will have another successful of season and Gase will get this team further in the 2017 playoffs.

I watched this game delay because it was my son's birthday. A coupe thought on the steelers. I thought the Steelers were playing a dirty game.

I thought Ajayi's personal foul after the helmet to helmet hit on Moore was ridiculous, yeah he pushed Dupree, but the illegal hit on Moore is about as violent of hit as I have seen on a QB. I am shocked he wasn't concussed and came back in the game. Moore said in his press conference he was not sure if he stiff had all his teeth. The refs should be able to throw a player out of the game for egregious hits like that. Moore also got hit earlier in then facemask earlier in the game by Dupree, which wasn't called either.

Later in the game, the Steeler S almost hit Devante Parker with an illegal helmet to helmet hit as well. Parker fortunately dropped his head to the ground (and end up with turf in his mouth and facemask), but the steeler S was try to hurt him (he actually hurt the steelers CB.) I don't know anyone else remembers the helmet to helmet hit on Chris chamber from the Denver S, but Chamber was never the same player again. He was try to take a cheap shot but missed.

It seemed like many times, the steeler were taking shots at Miami player just after the play, especially on Ajayi. IMO the ref should have called a couple penalties which would have likely toned down the steeler defenders and perhaps changed Dupree midst before blowing up Moore. Ultimately I don't think it would have changed the outcome. Miami defense probably would have been able to stop the Steelers offense if it really needed to.

Yes.smileys with beer

I will say though......I was willing to bet $100 to charity after the draft that we would make the playoffs because of our #1 Olineman Pick. I did it again Pre season , and again after we were 1-4.

You were even afraid to do it during our winning streak. Not blind luck. I wouldn't bet during the Saprano or Phiblin yrs. Not with Chad Henne as a QB

I believe. You have the right to your opinions Sam, but if your not willing to put up, you should shut up. Just saying......End of discussion from me.

I am excited about next year! GO DOLPHINS.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

You made your opinion clear on Tannehill. And you were proven wrong.
He had a great season and took us to the door of the playoffs. Moore walked us in.

Just say "I was wrong" and move on , or put your money where your mouth is.
Make it $50 to the Dolphins cancer charity.

Next year we make the playoffs again.AFC east look out.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

It's a deal......with a slight modification.

I mean....saying Tanny is the real deal shouldn't be painful?

I'll gladly post Tanny is a Wet firecracker if we don't make it.

But you lose you post:

"I'm a closet Patriots fan."

Shake?

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Tanny is the real deal is a win win for him.

He said he thinks Tannehill is not a good QB. If you don't believe it , don't say it.

I'll bet ANYTHING, say whatever, because I believe.

So what's it gonna be Sam?

"Mizzou, would you like a beer that actually tastes like sweet Chocolate candy?

Try Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout. "

Respectfully no Chryen don't like the Chocolate in the beer that's like the flavored moonshine they have going around these days. I like to stick w/ the original.

Sam Adams makes some good stuff though.

Treasure, I stated my views about Tanny, the read option, the pocket and stand by them, Treasure. The ONLY success he had was out of the pocket. I am not taking sides. Sam said he didn't want to bet money that he might not be able to collect. He suggested betting for taglines and while you now attack me, I thought that was cool and tried to broker the deal to end the war. Your lashing out at the refis very revealing of your lack of confidence in the accuracy of your position.
