I saw the same ole saying that my college buddy said after the 80s, "Same ole Dolphins, can't run and can't stop the run." Tanny's passing looked better though.

Look at Sammy the wanna be Dolphins fan.....

Tanny had a great showing with some quality pass prtection, a bomb, a run, 2 scores in the red zone and you bring up a injury prone QB whose team made a deal with the devil to aquire.

Now your argument isnt, Tanny is a wet firecracker, its, this QB is better. Whatever you probably would have had a wet dream if we took RG III. How did that work out?

Tannehill is our present and Future. Deal with it. Or dont. But I'm not going to let you forget a second of it. grinning smiley.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Do you agree luck has gotten farther with less help or not?

Tannehill should had made the playoffs at least once.

I got another name for you:

Matthew Stafford.

Everybody says he's great, but he's never made the playoffs.

So, does that make us the Detroit Lions of the AFC? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

No. The dolphins are in a class by themselves.

tannehill got to believe in his teammates.....throw the ball dont stand there like a DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS ( chrenb ) waiting to be sacked.

Its just a game but you got no shot if you dont even try...

Tannehill is afraid to throw ints.

Luck is not.

I also noticed that from the snap, Tanny was on the move and not trying to stand in the pocket like he was Bob Griese or something.

That was the reason he looked better.

It was not full-out read option like Kaepernick but it was not the same ole stand in the pocket, deer in the headlights.

On another subject, though, we still have that stupid way of running wherein the QB takes the ball, the (what we used to call) fullback stands still five yards back, the QB then stupidly runs back five yards in order to hand the ball off to the back and then the back tries to run up the 5 yards to the line of scrimmage before anyone can even think of gaining an inch.

That is incredible!

I'm starting to think the only reason we have running plays is because everyone else in the NFL EXPECTS us to have running plays. I have a feeling if Gase had his way we'd have 5 WRs on the field at all times.

But Vic, that same play was used over and over again LAST year. It drove me wild last year. Stupidest thing I ever saw, even MUCH more stupid than having a mobile quarterback like Tanny standing in the pocket waiting to pass. Far more stupid than even that. The reason I have not been preaching about it like I do Tanny standing in the pocket is that we did not do it as much, obviously.

Why? Marino went to the playoffs many times. And won games in the playoffs...He went to the afc championship....we won division titles..

You are so in love with tannehill that you have to take it out on the best dolphins qb ever.

Marino was a superstar.

The jury still out on tannehill.

I just think the rule changes have made the NFL a pass-happy league, and the Phins jumped on the bandwagon long ago. I don't think Tannenbaum cares about having a good running game, and that's what you're seeing.

Its not about if he cares or not. We are just no good running the football...We left lamar miller go to another team....We develop a player then we let him go to another team....

The blocking is just not there for the running game and nobody fears tannehill. So this is the reason.

Guarantee you he cares but when you dont have the personel to make it work you tend to get away from it...

But its only the third pre season game so i think its early.

Hopefully we stay healthy and find the right starters on the OLIne that click.

I agree he is a superstar. Not his fault he never got a ring. But by your rationale all his stats mean nothing because he never won a championship. I mean that's what it's all about right Sam? Winning a Superbowl?

Now you say the Jury is out on Tannehill!? Now you convicted him wrongly a long time ago.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Ive always said as long as you are a member of the miami dolphins staters i will support you all the way...

I still think tannehill can become great. But he is not there yet.

He needs to prove the doubters wrong by having a couple of 4th quarter comeback wins to make playoffs or in other words when it really counts.

So you think he Can be great now?

Lol. I KNOW he can be great.he just needed some blocking and a head coach who doesn't give head.

So far, I've seen 2 bad throws. One netted an INT, the other a near INT.

The INT wasn't entir9on him. New center, who is playing great BTW, didn't block the guy that battered it.

Receivers had a few drops, Tanny did great , brought the team within scoring in the 2 minute drill but special teams Fed that.

The throw was high. How is that NOT the QB's fault? Dude, I'm starting to wonder if you're Tanny's agent or something.

The throw was batted at the line and went high. Tannehill still has trouble with batted balls, two in this game.

The throw went high because of the new center. He also had a bad snap that Tanny dove on. Tannehill is far from perfect, but he's a hello from a QBack.ESPECIALLY from a team that has had nothing but 3rd round scrubs and bad draft choices at the position for over a decade.

Guy just needed a little pass protection. That's it. The last 3 yrs under Philbin were terrible for him . And he still somehow produced.

Tannehill I'll IS NOT THE PROBLEM . Never was.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
