Treasure, I understand your point and (somewhat) agree with it.
As I have said before, I believe Campbell will make a good HC, but not at this time. He has a lot to learn about being a HC, and to help him along, he would need some really good coordinators. Again, as I have mentioned, DC, IMO, will not be able to lure any quality coordinators to the Fins. Granted, he could get lucky with no-names that surprise everyone, but it is highly unlikely.
Looking at the HC market, I don't see any really strong candidates out there. There are some good candidates, but no great ones. Of course, if someone is out there that is great, he is already a HC.
The only one I would consider "great" is Jim Harbaugh. He has proven what he can do. Whether or not he is willing to leave Michigan or if he is even interested in the Miami job (because of the fiasco a few years back) I don't know. However, when there is a pile of green laid out in front of him, he may change his mind.
Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on the reports concerning Miami's coaching search.
