Its good to see Campbell ahead of Coughlin and his staff. This game so far is giving me more faith in Campbell's abilities as a HC. Also did not know we signed Moore from the Giants. I have to think that Campbell was in agreement w/ that decision and thinks he can handle the immature ogre. We now have 2 veteran DE's on the roster

He sounds like some of...a lot of...the people on this board.

Except I know that people here are truly fans of our team.

Tanny took some hits tonight and got right back up. We lost by a touchdown. We lost because of sloppiness. Penalties , you cant convert on 3rd and 25 and alot of dropped balls. You cant throw this one at Tannehills feet. Sims fumbles, dropped 2 easy passes. He has No blocking whatsoever. I saw Coach Campbell mouthing the words "COM ON Dallas!!" Because he had the pocket collapsing after literally a 1 sec. count.

Our first three picks need to be 2 Olinemen and a Corner. Let the talent level decide the order.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I disagree, but not by much. I think we need to go LB, OL, DB.and a couple more OL's and DB's.

WTF was with that Endzone paint? Looked like a bad bowling shirt. Is that the way the endzone looked in the 60's? Otherwise , the 50 YD line looked amazing. Loved it. They need to bring the Logo and Aqua and Orange back. smileys with beerthumbs up

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Coaching staff not ready for prime time in any way, shape, or form.

Terrible game plan.
Went away from the run again.
Tried to get into a shootout with a pea-shooter.
Relying on a sub-.500, 20-somethingth ranked QB to win games is an indictment on the ineptitude of the coaching staff.

To me, it was mis-directed emotions. Remember how many stupid penalties were committed RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF.

And that last committee of fools who wanted to make damn sure that that last crucial punt of ours was downed at the one inch line and ended up making it a touchback???????

As Smokey Robinson said, "I got to laugh to keep from Crying."

I hear ya, but the people on this board are not professionals with field access to the team and the players. Ross should revoke his privileges when he is wishing we lose.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I saw the game but was unable to post last night. After seeing the 50 year gala event put on to honor the top 50 players, losing the game was a real upsetting event for me.

Yes, it's the same old crap. The team can't play for a full 60. The 2nd half was pitiful overall. The defense couldn't do much but whither away. Suh was exhausted. Gruden noticed it as well. Our remarkable offense could not sustain a drive and gave the defense no rest.

We also saw a Manning outperform a Tannehill, by repeatedly hitting Beckham, and with the ability to read defenses, pulled away from the Dolphins. Tannehill's inability to make a come back with the personnel on the team has existed for 4 seasons now--my belief is that it is more than just the coaching staff--it's his mental state telling him "I can't do it."

Watching the post game show, with Suh first, muttering about not being able to get off the field, put the blame on the lousy offense; then Dan Campbell so deflated, realizing he's done, so are many on the team, followed by Tannehill telling us all that he couldn't get it done.

With a stadium containing HOFers and champion Dolphins this game had to be a real disappointment bringing a nice memorable evening to a screeching halt.

The thing I really enjoyed was the old uniforms and logo. Despite the teams play and outcome, those uniforms and logo seemed right for the team. Today's uniform and logo need to be scrapped--pastel colors just don't cut it.

The play of Brent Grimes has diminished this season.

Now 5-8 with 3 more challenges ahead. I expect the same type of play coming from this bunch in those games. However, I don't expect a huge blowout when we play NE--injuries have reduced them a bit.

The Carolina Panthers are making a strong statement about how good they are and they may just be able to win them all. They sure looked awesome against the Falcons on Sunday.

I watched the 50 gala also. What jumped out at me was one of the old timers, maybe Greise, saying that under Shula the practices were so demanding that by comparison the games felt easy.
By contrast, I recall reading that Tannehill commented that since Campbell took over that practices were actually fun to go to.

This team is SO damn frustrating!!! WHY did we go away from the run? Miller was killing them. Why did Tannehill stop scrambling in the second half? He was buying time and completing passes, then he went back to standing there waiting to get crushed.

The OLine looked great at times then HORRIBLE when it mattered. They can't pick up a blitz to save their life!

Same for Tannehill. TWO PERFECT OPPORTUNITIES in the 4th qtr for game saving/winning drives...punt...and punt. Yes, there was the stupid penalties by Landry et al, but there were also two overthrown OPEN revceivers that ended those drives.

Is it lack of talent, lack of coaching/scheming/adjusting, fatigue??? All those things reared their head last night, but in the end, that 4th qtr, it was just lack of heart and on-field leadership.

From now on they will play without pressure, win all three games left and pick about 20 in every round. This is almost guaranteed.

The story of the dolphins.

After last night I was thinking:

Maybe keep Campbell fire everyone else let him pick his staff

Tanne had some good moments. The whole offense needs a coordinator who will follow a scripted offense for an entire game.

Oline is run blocking a helluva lot better. Thomas and Turner opend some holes for Miller. Still too much man to man on stunts and blitzes and a blitzer always gets thru. Again these guys need a coach and a smart center. No way in hell does Pouncey make my phins top 50. Give me Dellenbach any day.

Get a new offense w/ split receivers & fb. Screw this 3 receiver ***. One of them isn't doing a damn thing might as well have a fb back there blocking.

Put a leash and collar around Stills neck and let him tag after Landry for the rest of the season. Maybe Landry can train him to love the game w/assion the way he does.

Grimes is still our best cb but we should go after a cb in round one and a free safety in round 2. FS is a huge hole on at least 2 of the scoring plays I thought the FS was not where he should have been.
