Life as a Dolphins fans is one of continual disappointment. While I believe Dan Campbell has invigorated the players, the skill level of the Patriot players exceeds that of most of our Dolphins.

The Pats execute plays better than any NFL team. When receivers aren't in the passing play they block. The switch from receiver to blocker is instantaneous.

The Pats are talent-laden and the coaching staff gets them to perform consistently--machine like.

It is remarkable that we can appear to be quite talented until the face a great team. The disparity in talent is very apparent. It starts at the QB; no comparison--journeyman to master.

It's late, and I'm done...tomorrow is another day to brood over this loss. sad smiley

Journeyman?!!....That's being generous!

Dude is in no way, shape, or form a legit playoff caliber QB.
He's a slightly more athletic version of Chad Henne, that's about it.

I walked out of the house and went to the store before halftime. I had to leave. I was hoping the Dolphins would win this game more than any other but I've learned not to expect it. I think we've all learned that. Hell I'm not even mad. Just disappointed.

Had that thought for a couple of years now, hoped this year would prove me wrong...it hasn't.

Its funny how right before the season all the phins reporters talk about how good he is going to be, how he knows exactly where all the receivers are, how great he is going to be this season.

Reporters are clueless...

BTW for all here who hate omar kelly.................

He is just like donald trump.......>All he does is tell the truth...

And people hate him for it.

It's funny how we think the PATS are our biggest rival and they couldn't care less...just another team to beat...

Now the Colts..they seem to care about beating them...Miami? Not a problem.

I don't know what it is with the Dolphins and QB's, but Henne and Tannehill both have the same problem. Their mentality. They aren't gun-slingers, they aren't looking for the big play, they look for the safe easy completion.

I lost count how many times on Thursday we ran combination routes and Tannehill always takes the underneath receiver rather than the receiver breaking open deep. I believe Simms even mentioned in a number of times, of course, in his faint praise to Tannehill "Jennings was open 30 yards down the field, but Tannehill did the smart thing to take the 10 yard easy completion to try to get something going." Ugh!

And, of course, we've all read Peter King's MMQB after we destroyed the Texans, right? The average distance beyond the LOS for Tannehill's 4 big touchdown passes was 5.5 yards.

It's just so bizarre. Most developing QBs throw INTs or get sacked from holding the ball too long because they are looking for the big play down the field. We're giving up INTs throwing crossing routes and our QB holds the ball too long because once the quick, short throw isn't open, he never looks down field, he just waits for those short routes to open back up.
