Realistic expectations for Sunday? Any predictions? Does anyone think Campbell's recipe of simplicity and physicality will rev up the players, or will he be humiliated in his debut?
Personally, I think we win 20-14. I foresee a rejuvenated team fresh off the bye, eager to prove something on the road, and a lot of heart out there.
I'm predicting a loss, 'cause that's where I am with this team right now. Hoping Campbell's style produces a team that shows up and plays hard from the opening whistle, instead of farting around until they're down by 20. But I'm thinking he's got too much crapola to deal with from the previous regime to turn things completely around his first game out. Let's say a 10-13 loss.
if we win the coin toss i hope he defers. all the complaining the d has done about the coaching they had better go out and shut a rookie QB down that first series.
how the D plays it's first series will set the tone. if they give up a score i agree with 13. We lose. If they get a stop then I stick with 17-13 type game.
It's quite possible that the defensive line may play better than in past weeks with our new HC. That might make a difference in the other team scoring against the Dolphins. As for the O-line, if #76 Branden Albert is playing, Tannehill may be able to throw for some first downs; however, if Albert is still nursing injuries and unable to play, the o-Line is still incapacitated, especially at the guard positions, and porosity will play havoc defending against blitz and hard rushes. Moving the ball on the ground will also not be there. We are a tad better with Albert playing LT.
If Albert plays and the D improves in the trenches, we win the game by 3. So...it all depends.
For us to get a win we'd better play MUCH better than we have been...The Titans who played a pretty physical game last week, hung in and could have (Maybe even should have) beaten the Bills.
Lets hope they were playing like crap on purpose to get philbin fired....
Allthose penalties right at the moment we were making good plays at the same time seems fishy to me. Just toomany penalties at the perfect times....seems suspicious.
These next two games are winnable. Will Miami win them...who knows?
I want them to win, of course, but if they don't and they have at least given their all and stayed in the game (unlike the last two games), then I will be pleased...not happy, but pleased.
It has been extremely difficult watching the last two games where the team decided to just stay home.
I think Campbell is going to bring out the best in these guys.
I'm predicting a win. iT's speculation, but the guys didn't seem to want to put any effort for the pinheAd. Same guys, same talent, more fire= competitive team.

Football is a very mental game. Philbin quit on them last year. They play hard and win Sunday.
Pissed off and (almost) nothing to lose, national media pouring gasoline onto a "dumpster fire"... I think we'll see a different team for sure. They gotta be tired of all the negativity.
I hope Philbin's firing has another effect besides just that there will be a different person in his place. I hope the employees (Players) realize that if the boss can get fired, they can get fired too and that this makes them play like they are playing for their jobs.
While a win is preferable, that's not the most important thing that I want to see. I want to see this team COMPETE for 60 minutes. I want to see them play HARD. I want to see them show some HEART! I think those things will translate into some wins down the road, but I think it has to begin NOW.
