While where at it Make every police officer black and we wouldn't have
any more Ferguson . Right? Rules are Rules - Just punish Teams when the rules are broken!
He could be saying that an extreme and ridiculous solution to what happened in Ferguson would be to make all police officers Black instead of doing the simple thing which would be to punish Officer Nelson.
I didn't by Belichicks or Brady's explanations. A nfl HC is like the captain of a navy ship, he knows how each department of that ship functions, he knows the rules for each department. Belichick knows the process for the pre game handling of the balls he was lying. Everybody knows Brady didn't deflate the balls. He was saying nothing by stating that. What he would not say was did he have anything to do with having the balls deflated. He could not answer the question 'was he a cheater' w/out hesitation.
Yeah I think Belichick should be suspended for a year. The Pats should be docked a 1st and a 4th 2015 picks. If Brady is linked to this he should serve some suspension too. There is something rotten in NE and the NFL should hit them hard. Its time.
I even gave Belichick the benefit of the doubt when Shula recently called him Bellicheat. Shula was just calling a spade a spade. Don't ever go against the skipper.

"You're in the express checkout lane, limit ten items.
You have eleven items.
Running the cash register is Don Shula."

At my age I should have known better. A guy could lose his Phin Fan card over something like that.

Yeah, and write into the NFL rulebook that any such magnitude of an infraction by any team in the future will result in the forfeiture of that game. And also implement the above change that from now on, all game balls will be provided by the NFL and will be tested after each quarter.
Today Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that the NFL is locked onto a member of the Patriots equipment staff, a locker room attendant if you will, who took the footballs after officials inspected them into a separate room. If he indeed altered them, which is what it looks like the NFL is locking onto IMO, then he had orders from above.
I still don't think Roger Goodell has the balls (pardon the pun) to suspend anyone on the Pats for the SB, forget disqualifying the team. I expect penalties to come after the game is played. The proverbial "slap on the hand".
Meanwhile, Neil Tyson (COSMOS astrophysicist) has joined Bill Nye in basically saying Bill Belichick's scientific assertions are full of crap.

He has to suspend them. Belichick's press conference Saturday will force his hand, or at least it should.
You can't stand up there and say nobody in your organization new anything about it and blame it on bullshit like atmospherics and not get hammered when its clear someone in your organization did it.
I'm sure the lowly grunt is a lifetime patriot fan and will be more than glad to fall on his sword and take all the blame, but that would be even more insulting to the league and its fans. There's no way any pats fan in the world is going to take it on himself to deflate Brady's game day footballs in the hopes that he likes it. And there's no way the Pats are letting a Bills, Jets or Dolphins fan handle game day equipment...but even if they did...as the league told the Saints when they HAMMERED their head coach and GM..."ignorance is no excuse."
It's going to be 41 tonight in orlando so I'm going to inflate my Wilson NFL ball to 12.5 psi and set it outside. I'll throw it in the pool first to simulate game conditions that fateful night.
When the alarm rings at 5am I will measure the pressure.

41...ahhhh...souns like summer...
or the number of inches of snow I'm supposed to get in the next 24 hours.

Don't forget to get your neighbor across the street to do the same exact experiment. That way when his football's PSI remains the same while yours drops, you'll have proven the Pats innocence!
Kraft was just on the news last night demanding an apology from the NFL. That's just funny. Although the way the NFL kisses the collective rear end of that organization, I wouldn't be surprised if it actually happened.
Yea, the Kraft obviously has some nasty leverage on the league -- being so fully invested in cheating and fixing outcomes to benefit the marketplace and certain owners with agendas outside of football...
The vastness of the money is only transcended by the corruption.
It wont matter they won the SB and will be back in the hunt next season. Until Brady and Bellacheat leave they will continue to own our division. It is what it is.
