Daniel Jeremiah ? @MoveTheSticks

Just studied 3 games of Mich St CB Trae Waynes. I like him better than any of the CBs in last year's draft. Size, speed, tough, instinctive

I love Parker, Cooper & DGB on tape but West Virginia's Kevin White is my top WR. He has the same traits as Julio Jones.

I saw a mock today that had us taking White. I'd be cool with that

He's a lot shorter than Jones and faster.

I see a lot of Sammy Watkins in Kevin white.

I have no idea if he has the brain power to be an elite nfl wr but if he does, I'd love to land him.

I also LOVE DG-B. That kid is randy Moss part deux. Maybe in more ways than one. Can't wait to see what he runs at the combine.

I'm also high on Philip Dorsett and Stephon Diggs.

In a related note: Sophomore LB, Scooby Wright won the Bronco Nagursky award this year. Scooby...LOL

I don't know which name is better. Bronco or Scooby?

Mel Kiper has us taking LB, Shaq Thompson at 14.

He looks likes a good pick. High football intelligence but he is small for a MLB and he would replace Jenkins as the WLB. No tour biggest need, IMO.

He's played safety, RB and WLB. 6'2 230.

what is #1 back money? players better than miller don't even make all that much anymore. $$ should not be an issue unless you've got a AP or C Johnson coming off their monster seasons, and the days of breaking the bank even for these guys is over. watch and see how much demarco murray gets. MAYBE 7mm a year and he's the #1 guy in the league

Miller started 31 games over the last two years. How is he "brittle"? Only 393 carries but still.

I would be happy with any of these players in the first round. Some could be had with a trade down.....

Danny Shelton, NT
Trae Waynes, CB
T.J. Clemmings, OT
La'el Collins, OT
Malcom Brown, NT
Benardrick McKinney, MLB

I want an offensive playmaker in the first specifically green-beckham.

line that guy up opposite wallace and the offense looks totally different.

I would not draft a WR, just don't have confidence in QB getting him the ball.

I would draft OL or DT.

If Jordan moves to LB like he should our LB will be decent.

Would look at DB too, but seems weak in the draft.

good guys finish last

how about we get the kid with the most talent and surround him with a good support group.

we could have had dez. he was and is a head case. he's also one of the best wrs in the league.

So you're saying we draft the WR first or should we like most others are saying the Defense (LB ) first?

(Had not Ireland asked him if his mother was a crack whore).

Dallas had to hire a TEAM of guys to babysit Dez as well as getting counseled from players like Deione.

Dez combined over the last two games....6/86/0

The final four is filled with "good guys". I don't recall any diva, head case receivers though.

Dez rules:

• A midnight curfew. If he's going to miss curfew, team officials must know in advance;

• No drinking alcohol.

• He can't attend any strip clubs and can only attend nightclubs if they are approved by the team and he has a security team with him.

• He must attend counseling sessions twice a week.

• A rotating three-man security team will leave one man with Bryant at all times.

• Members of the security team will drive Bryant to practices, games and team functions.

yeah, that's what you want.

so what. I'm not saying you should pay for his security detail. all i care about is his production on the field.

it's a qb driven league. get our young qb as many weapons as we can and if one happens to be there at 14, get him.

if we score 30/game all our d has to do is give up less than that.

but here's the thing, if our O is explosive and we actually play with a lead we may take more chances on D.

I don't care about the baggage. I want production not the same ole build from the inside out philosophy.

You may not care but Joe Philbin is still leading this team last I checked. You have heard of the new NFL personal conduct policy, right?

He's no use to us if he's on the commissioner's exempt list.

The whole "hire the thugs" thing may have worked back in Jimmy Johnson's day but not now.

Especially a guy with a history of domestic violence.

I may take a chance on a troubled guy in the 3rd round but I'm not passing on another potential Pro Bowl player for a head case @ 14.

The build from the inside philosophy is still good. They just haven't gotten it right yet and Hickey hasn't had the time yet.

*********************************************************

Our offense was good enough to win more than 8 games this season; our defense wasn't. Defense (or OL) should be the first pick.

no more olinemen. we've drafted enough of them the past 10 years.

we have an LT, RT, and C. put Turner at LG and Thomas at RG from day 1 of OTAs and keep them their the entire offseason. Learn one position and own it. Have a couple of backup swing guys.

IF you can get a guard in FA great. If you want to draft one in round 4 or 5 for depth do it but not another 1st round pick on one.

our offense is great between the 20s and is built for long sustained drives. we need someone that can take it to the house. we need a difference maker.

That couldn't be less relevant.

With the exception of James last year, none of the olineman we've drafted in the last ten years were drafted by this front office.

Add to that the facts that the average NFL career is what...4 years (?) and that players get hurt and leave via free agency and who Bill Parcells or Rick Spielman drafted a decade ago means absolutely NOTHING when you are putting a team on the field for the 2015 season.

We have 3 competent offensive lineman. The most important of them is rehabbing a major knee injury and might not be ready until mid season. We have one promising rookie in Turner.

Oline is the single biggest priority in this offseason. We need two more starters and several quality backups or next season will be a repeat of the 8-8 season we've had the last two years.

If we can fix it in free agency...great. But there is little doubt that even if we sign a few olineman we are going to draft at least one.

Like Truth says, what past regimes have done in the draft over the last 8 years is irrelevant. They obviously failed miserably. It doesn't mean you give up.

(Besides, over the last 8 years (in addition to Jake Long) we also have James and Pouncey)

Unfortunately Hickey is in a position where he must find great talent so this team can win in spite of coaching.

Our first two rounds will need to yield instant starters. No time for a learning curve. That likely means no small school prospects like Turner who need time to learn a complex scheme and no projects.

It's hard to depend on Turner being the starter without having an alternative plan with an upgraded player. That means we have to add a minimum of two o-linemen, likely a third, depending on Albert's recovery.

We also need DT's equally as much.

Free agency is a long shot because we have no cap space unless Hickey is allowed to do A LOT of wheelin and dealin.

DBG is undraftable. Nobody wants to see a wife beater, a felon, as the #1 receiver and the face of the franchise. No one wants to watch that in the stadium, or work along side that in any organization.
Some team may draft him in the 5th and hide him for a year. I don't think it should or will be the Dolphins. Don't care for his production or potential and nobody should. Let him fix his life elsewhere.
