---> not exactly MATTY ICE (heheheh) but not ALEX SMITH either. He's got a very strong arm to make the NFL throws, scored highly intellectually, no character issues we know about, and would make a nice face for the franchise there in D.

Ready to contribute from day one. Footwork is as good if not better than Joe Thomas. Excels in pass protection, not as good as Smith as a run blocker but not as important on the left side and is more than adequate. O-line is a huge need. Right side gave up 14 sacks and got Bulger killed. Pace is gone. This is where it starts.
"He's boom or bust. I don't know if he's DeMarcus Ware or Vernon Gholston. I've seen him have some really good games, and I've seen what I considered to be Brandon Pettigrew tearing him apart. The point is, I don't see it all the time from Orakpo, which concerns me.''
Do we have to wait for another day and a half for the next pick? We should elect someone as an alternate and give a 4 hour time limit or something. We are averaging 8 hours per pick. The draft is in 7.5 days.

See thats exactly what Im talking about. I like this guy, but I dont think the draft is one of his most knowledgeable areas.
Ted Thompson is a pretty smart guy. They need a LT but Curry represents better value here over Michael Oher. Curry COULD project to 3-4 WOLB but that is still a question mark. If he doesn't work out there, he will be stud at either of the two inside spots. Teaming with Hawk and replacing Barnett, who may be too small for a 3-4 ILB and is coming off a torn ACL.
Green Bay...Aaron Curry, LB - WAKE FOREST
PF2...I see you will be picking for the Dolphins. Funny how that worked out. (:
