As long as i have been a phins fan i have never seen this team as gritty rise to the occasion type team. Even when we had better talent we would always collapse and we seem to be living up to that mind set. I just dont get it and am getting very tired of it. Losses i can take but the way we lose with seemingly zero heart sucks to watch and cheer for.

I have been a PHINATIC since 1970 and have seen Miami rise to the occasion in the 70s, 80s, and 90s...but for many years now it is just seems to be one pathetic heartache after another...I personally think it all starts with the lack of football pride the city of Miami displayed for years....Phins and Canes have not been the same since 2000.

I think all of this mediocrity is our pay back for the 1972 season. Perfection followed by years of imperfection. At least I'm old enough to have enjoyed that 1972 season.

I'm old enough too but sheesh, the Red Sox had a curse for something like 90 years; I hope we don't have to wait THAT long!

Me too, JC. If not for me, for my sons who are Dolphin fans because of me. I show them video of the 72 season sometimes to prove that we were once the best team in the NFL.
