Hey, you guys that have jumped ship....

...let me ask you a question.

If you had your way and you think RT is a major problem, and that we've seen the ceiling of his capabilities, what do you do with the QB position?

My answer is of course that RT is our best option at QB for quite awhile, but I'm very much wanting to hear what people think the better solution is.

Let the claims of multiple users and conspiracies commence!

Tannehill started playing in this sytem this year.

The solution is give him time. Bob Griese is right.

Tannehill did better against Oakland because they finally got him OUT of the pocket for more plays. Made him harder to defend and made passing easier for him for the very same reason.

Chren i give him credit and all. If he can do that against the packers i think we are on to something.

Hes definetely looked better on the run and scrambling that just sitting in the pocket waiting to get sacked.

The need to give him more plays like these.

There is a difference between RG3 and Tannehill and that is Tannehill can take a hit with the best of them. About 6'4 225 or so..

Been a former WR helps.

My only hope is for him to be smart about the whole thing and slide when he has to.

We need to spend our draft picks on linemen. We will not find a better smarter more Athletic QB. He is also a quality person.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I do keep this in consideration -

Tannehill didn't have much experience to begin with, and he's immediately anointed as a franchise QB as soon as he gets his Phins jersey.

Do I think he can be coached better? Absolutely. Do I have some concerns about his abilities right now? Yes I do, but I think he could improve in time as he gains more reps and game experience.

I totally agree with everyone here that his athleticism is under utilized. He definitely needs to improve on the deep ball but I do believe that can be fixed. That along with some moxie can be achieved in time.

I do not think he should be benched. Experience and reps will help him develop better than holding a clipboard.

So what do we do about Tanny's contract next season?

And do we continue to pay Moore big bucks to be the backup?

Do we let Moore walk next year and draft some young & cheap competition for Tanny?

I'm thinking a lot is contingent on how this season plays out.

They let Tanny go , another Team gets him as he is about to explode. We suffered through the growing pains , we need to reap the benefits that this great pick has to offer. You think Drew Breeze hurt? Wait until we don't retain Ryan and we spend another decade looking and drafting shit. While we watch Ryan go on to super stardom at our expense , hopefully not to another AFC East team..........

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

No one has jumped ship. We just been there done this a million times. Not one dolphin fan wants to hate on any player or coach. Some of us fans have higher more immediate standards and some are more relaxed. I hope this streak continues but I know Philben. So I'll remain skeptical and just not complain until they mess up.

the couple of designed runs helped. what I was more impressed with was tanny finally taking off and making a play when his wrs were covered or the pocket started collapsing. that is what he needs to do more.

now let's see some consistency. do that 3-4 games in a row and it's easier to swallow a bad game. if he continues the one good two bad pattern then you start warming up moore.

mike Wallace's comment after the game "he even ran the ball" tells me that option is there and it's up to tanny to make the play. the coaches aren't forcing him to stay in the pocket.

He needs to run. It will make our offense that more explosive!

He did seem to play more relaxed which is good.

Don't forget the Raiders are really really bad.

The next couple weeks will tell more.

I would have started Moore to begin with the entire season.

Tannehill will never learn to throw the deep ball, BUT perhaps in this offense it is not needed.

I would be happy if the last game was the beginning for Tannehill.

With Praise like that , you don't need insults.

Guess what? Tannehill IS starting.....and he has no need to be Born again. He was born right the first time. You just refuse to see it(or admit it).

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I can't say I have a second team but I guess they are kinda the 49ers, who my nephew roots for and the Redskins, who my sister and that nephew roots for.

The only other Team I have a real distaste for besides those in the AFC East of course , is The Dallas Cowgirls. JJ just really rubs me wrong about what is wrong with professional sports. WTF does ANY team owner get the privilege of calling his team "America's team? And why do certain teams always get to play on Thanksgiving? F Them.

True but don't under value it either.. The raiders came into that game with a top 5 pass defense and our passing game thrived.. While the Raiders are not a complete team, we had a great offensive performance with Moreno hurt and Tannehill looking pretty strong spreading the ball around.

but that's what this board does, jlyell13.

if we win it's time to start pricing sb tickets. Lose? time to fire everyone.

it's pretty comical.

Exactly js08 we are a 8-8 team because of bad coaching which instill inconsistently played games throughout the season.
