Yeah, I slipped and missed the import of your post because I guess I was tripping on his post and may mistakenly have thought your post referred to something in what another poster said.

One for the dolphin....

Dolphins No. 1 receiver Mike Wallace lit up practice Monday. He had three touchdowns in team drills and each was of a different variety. Wallace caught his trademark deep ball from quarterback Ryan Tannehill for approximately a 40-yard touchdown to get things going. Then, Wallace also caught a skinny post over the middle for a touchdown and another score in the corner of the end zone on a broken play. Both of those touchdown passes also were from Tannehill. Wallace is being moved around this year and there are early signs of success. “Nobody can have a key on me,” Wallace explained. “Last year ... it was every game in the same spot. When you move around, it's hard for a defense to know where you're at.”

Good to see Binns and Hartline getting in on the action. Great to read the offense is looking sharp. Usuallly it seems the defense has the edge at this time of camp. Also great to see Dallas Thomas is handling things at LG. Yep its early but still its good news.

Hard to imagine we could end up with two starters on the line from Tennessee. Best friends no less. It's still early but it only makes us deeper on the line.

Many times linemen drafted outside the first round just need time to adjust/add strength.

I hope they turn into a deadly combination. Wallace alreay showed signs toasting up Grimes earlier this summer. Tanne is going to make a big leap this season.

I read in an article earlier where someone suggested that we would/should trade Wallace for Andre Johnson. A 33 year old receiver oat the end of his career for a guy 6 years younger. I don't see it.

Naah I think we are stuck w/ Wallace we made the agreement w/ him he is ours. I think Wallace is dedicating himself to having a successful relationship w/ Tanne. I am looking for improvement from all of the players who are going into their second year w/ the team. Wallace Wheeler, Ellerbe and the 2013 rooks.

It was refreshing to see the new offense. Some criticized Lazor for possibly showing too much in a preseason game but everyone should realize that there is much more to this offense than what we saw last Friday.

The motion, formations, etc made Sherman's WCO look lethargic and outdated.

The ball never hit the ground as Tannehill guided the offense. This all without his top 2 starting WR's and his starting TE. Impressive.

It was definitely a nice preview. Did anyone hear "go-go"? That was nice as well.

Brandon Gibson looks healthy and back in mid season form. We are going to have many weapons this year in the passing game and I also look for a breakout year by Lamar Miller.

Hopefully the coaches realize how good Tannehill is in play cation and run it more than the 15% of last year. He had the 9th ranked QB rating in PA in 2013 (101.6).

I do think think you can accurately gauge how good or bad RT was using play action last year. We couldn't run the ball at all and we had no balance throwing almost 2/3rds of the time.

Play action is all about fooling the defense into playing the run for a second. I don't think we were fooling anyone with play action last year.

I think you can...by his performance. 7 TD. 1 int. (my quoted QB rating was wrong. it was 99.5)

Defenses did not fear the run. That doesn't mean they weren't frozen by PA as they tried to stuff the run. Sometimes it's a timing thing for a QB. Maybe he just has a better rhythm by going through the motions as opposed to operating out of the shotgun.

I'm not saying PA worked or didn't. Only that he was comfortable with the motion/timing of it and successful with the drop back.

Well, not quite top 10 yet but our offense has improved from 19.8 points per game and 26th ranked to 24.5 points per game and 11 ranked??? granted, it's only been 6 games.

If we can only add one more point to our average, we will be in good shape. Two points would be better.
