So far....Brent Grimes, Brandon Albert, Earl Mitchell, Louis Delmas, and Randy Starks.
We needed to keep Grimes = CHECK
Needed to get proven blindside help= CHECK
Needed to address DT needs after having 2 as free agents= CHECK Spent less and got younger in Earl Mitchell/kept a veteran in Randy Starks
Louis Delmas signing= CHECK in my book at 1 year 3.5 if he reaches all incentives
Would have loved to keep Solai but not at 11mil given by Atlanta this year for a 2 down player.
I don't feel comfortable with our Lb's. Wheeler is a bust and Ellerbe is not a MLB, Misi is just ok. I'd like to see a better anchor on our defense. MLB is a need.
Need to still plug that oLine with talent. An Alex Mack move would be a huge splash and potentially give us a pro bowl left side by moving Pouncey back to left guard position. LT Alberts LG Pouncey C Mack RG Jerry, Thomas RT Clabo
TE Charles Clay was above the charts...would still like to get help.
The defense has regressed statiscally since Coyle arrived.
We have an expensive DL, expensive LBs, and an expensive secondary. You can't pay top dollar at every position. At some point the coaching has to make adjustments to adapt to the personnel.
If they struggle again this year it's time to replace Colye. Surprised he got a pass last year.

I agree, but IMO Philbin should get as much blame as Coyle (also Ireland, but he's already gone).
Year 1: Philbin brings in Coyle and changes defensive schemes; defense regresses a bit, especially the rushing defense.
Year 2: Ireland swaps LBs, and rushing defense regresses even more. Only bright spot was Grimes. Hard to stop an opponent from driving down the field when Coyle has the CBs playing 10 yards off the WRs!

There is no one on the market at present that is worth the big bucks, so Miami can go after those second-tier guys that have a chance at starting or being good backups, at a decent price.
Miami can also hold on to their cash until the cuts just prior to the season starting.
