Hung up and posted like 4 times. Needed deletion ability from poster. Usually you get a message that says it has already been posted

albert is the 2d best OT on the market, older than Monroe (who is by all accounts better) and injury prone. Not sure why we have this guy as our #1 target. But we need to come away with a LT in FA so if it's gotta be Albert I can live with it. I hope the $$ is not completely outrageous though

Are we sure of that berk? The Jags let him go for peanuts and now noone desperate for a LT is willing to pay him

Aaron Wilson ?@RavensInsider ·10 hrs
Sources predict for tackle market: Albert to Dolphins, Veldheer to Cardinals, Saffold to Raiders,. Collins to Buccaneers, Monroe to Ravens

Rob Proffitt ?@aqua_and_orange ·10 hrs
Nobody wants Monroe at his price, MOF, most teams favor other players over him. My guess? He lowers his price & resigns with Balt.

A & O was all over this on twitter yesterday and I tend to agree with him, other then being a younger option, maybe Monroe is a little over hyped.

Ok then if Monroe costs less than Albert why is this bad? Woried about alberts age and injury history and that we will probably waaay overpay him for how good he is

According to what i've been reading Monroe won't cost less than Albert, either way I'm glad we are addressing the huge need at LT and only time will tell if signing Albert over Monroe is a good/bad move. Over paying for either one was inevitable due to piss poor drafting in recent years.

I wonder if this is just a move by Albert's team to drive his price up. Seems every year someone uses the Phins for this.

Always a possibility, but Albert lives in Miami in the off-season, and he seems to want to play here. We shall see late Tuesday afternoon.

I think every report you read or story you hear this time of year is to drive up said FAs price tag.

According to the reports, Albert will be a Dolphin at 4PM tomorrow.

If this does come thru to fruition, then we can only hope that Albert plays up to what he thinks he is but even moreso, we had better hope those injuries don't come to haunt him and the Fins.

Sure hope we have a solid backup.

I still don't see the fascination with Albert (which started in Miami last season).

Just block and delete the message. Or start at the beginning and hold the delete button down so all that is in the message is gone. I guess you have to add some language like "message deleted." Then post that! All you will have is nothing but message deleted.

I will show you with the post above that I gave you the first instructions on.

But wow! He came out the same year as Jake Long. Jake went first to us and he went 15th.

So isn't he too old?

Not too concerned with his age, but I am concerned that he will be unable to play up to his reported contract, and...his injury history scares me.

Once again, I ask...why the fascination with Albert?

If not Albert, who then?

***************************************************

Albert was considered the "best" of this year's OT free agents. This year didn't have any top notch FA OT available, thus he and a couple others were considered first-tier at the position.

I am concerned about his injury history. Miami (Ireland) did not sign him last year because he or his agent refused to have him take a medical. I believe he missed the last few games last season, also.

If not Albert, who then? As I said in an earlier post, I would sign four "good" offensive linemen at a workable price, rather than one (supposed) great OL at a higher price. There were a few second-tier linemen that I would have gone after, but...

That is neither here nor there since Albert has signed with Miami (and no other offensive lineman has).
