Like he does any other player -- whomever is open gets the ball.

He's young. Give him time.
But what I meant by the comparison is that he is a shameless self promoter. He's a "me first" guy.
Tonight I watched a bit on NFL Network which aired Sherman wired up for sound during the NFC title game against the 49ers. At the end of the game when he approached Crabtree & reached his hand out to shake it, he said "helluva game...helluva game". It was then that Crabtree slapped his head away.
All game long Sherman was motivating his teammates, at the end breaks up a pass that could have sent San Fran to the Super Bowl, then gets slapped in the head at the end when he tells Crabtree "helluva game".

Not just the post game rant.
I for one couldn't care less what players say to each other during the game. Good or bad it's just part of the competition.
The rreason I think he's an asshole is the choking gesture, the post game interview and the fact that it's the 6th or 7th time he's gone out of his way to put himself front and center by going after other players like Brady, Revis, etc, etc.
He's an intelligent guy.
If it happens once you write it off to emotions after a game. After a half dozen instances there is clearly a pattern.
That pattern is to make a name for himself and get paid. He has every right to do that. But if he's going to be angry, egotistical and classless in building that persona the he shouldn't be surprised when people think he's an ass or a thug.
Okay, the guy made his apologies and said that he got caught in the heat of the moment with the cameras.
I'll back off on him.
My only concern is not this petty crap about the news interview but if a player could allow his emotions to psych himself out on the playing field or BE PSYCHED OUT.
