But there was only one person who walked this Earth and ended up on a cross who was right about everything, Crowder. But if a guy has Shula's credentials, he's worth listening to on that count alone.

It also brings up another interesting point and time... Was Dan Henning a bad OC, because he couldn't make his offense work with Chad Henne... Or was his criticism undeserved, and Ireland/Parcells gave him inferior QB and talent that doomed his job.. To be written off as to old school.. Yet he was obviously innovative and had amazing success and turn around with Pennington at the helm in 2008...

How much is the player/personnel at fault and how much is the coach's fault? Tough spot for a coach to have his success based on the quality of the personnel and the GM to have his on the quality of the coaches ability to get the most out of the players the GM bets his reputation on...

And certainly none of us are smart enough football minds or exp to make that call or decision. I surely don't want Ross as the guy that is making that call...
