If halftime scores hold today in MIA and NWE games, then MIA has a chance at the AFC East crown. Would need to win out and have NWE lose on the road to Baltimore... not out of realm of possibility.

Forget about the division title, It is highly unlikely. As a matter of fact we may have to root for NE to beat Baltimore and help our slim chances at the last wildcard slot.
Maybe I don't understand the rule someone can correct me, but I thought on an onside kick you couldn't touch an apposing player till the ball went 10 yards, it looks to me as the kicker was sliding, he didn't touch the ball but made contact with the player trying to field the ball before the ball made 10 yards... Help me out here..
I knew Gronk would go down eventually, he is made of glass. Looks like Torn ACL this time. The Patsies are very beatable right now. If only the refs wouldn't step in.
THat was one of the WORST PI calls I've EVERY seen 'given' to the Pats. Jeez in that situation???? Game on the line???? let the players decide the game refs...damn,
Not only did the bogus PI call cost us a chance to gain a game in the division, there were also several questionable calls benefiting the Ravens at the end of their game which cost us in the wildcard race. I swear I think their is a conspiracy....
It was a bad call, as I was texting my pats fans how happy I was to see them lose, then wham they win it...it was a BS call but still GRONK is done and so is the season for them! My friend text back "f" me lol when I asked if gronk broke his leg...so he knows they are finished. He did think he will blank us next week in Miami, I hope we step it up and crsuh them like we did the first half of the first meeting.

I pretty much think his career is over. He's the Derrick Rose of the NFL.
Yeah, I think that the NFL will be politically pressured into making pass interference into 2 categories, Flagrant and Non-Flagrant.
The Flagrant to be non-reviewable (of course the refs job is gonna be on the line if they call it flagrant and in the off season it turns out to be non-flagrant or non-intentional (which flagrant means that is, intentional).
but the non-flagrant to be reviewable to determine by replay official if the ability to catch the ball was "possibly" affected.
Then the replay official can reverse only if he determines that it is unquestionable that the ability to catch the ball was unaffected. If it is close then the call stands.
But the change would be that interference calls would have to be first classified as flagrant (unreviewable) or non-flagrant (reviewable).
But South Florida, I don't have a tape of the game and I didn't see that it was the kicker himself that was doing anything on that on side kick so I can't help you out.
I have never heard of the rule that you can't touch an opposing PLAYER prior to 10 yards (I know you can't touch the ball) but I have the NFL rule book on my computer and will look it up.
I thought the player trying to field the ball couldn't be hit until the ball went ten yards, and looked to me the ball had gone less then ten and kicker was sliding beside the ball, didn't touch the ball but touched the player trying to recover the ball.. but I could be wrong...
