This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Coaches can coach, motivate, plan, prepare and yell and scream all they want...but in the end the players have to get it done on the field. Ours don't seem to have thier heads in this game.
There is absolutely NOTHING the coaches can do about that.
Sadly this year's Dolphins team looks headed to the scrap heap. All the Philbin naysayers now look to be correct. I thought maybe they had the players to make it to at least .500 this year, looks like I was wrong. I don't know where this team is headed now...or who could or would want to save it. The franchise is a mess. Poorly coached, poorly planned, poorly staffed. I feel sorry for S. Ross, I would not want to be in his shoes right now.
I hope 2014 brings us a Coach and GM that we the fans of the Miami Dolphins can be proud of.

RE: Yes it is on the coaches to prepare the team to play.
But once the game starts its completely up to the players to get it done...ours don't have thier heads in this game...as I said before there is nothing the coaches can do if the players (as a team) arent into the game mentally.

Sorry ken. I disagree with you.
The first 20 plays on both sides of the ball are scripted... We started miserably. Instead of taking it to this team ...we have folded.
Our only hope is that Tampa sucks!
How we are only losing by 8 is unbelievable!
They are 0-8 for a reason.
I remember how we dominated Denver 2 years ago and Denver came back and beat us. We dominated that game...ye we lost...
Tampa does not suck...they do have talent. They have much the same issue we do, young team, new(ish) coaches and can't find ways to close out games.
Lets all hope that after our high quality scoring drive at the half we've pulled our heads out of the sand and will continue to respond to the Buc's punching us in the mouth tonight.
We'll see if this team continues to grow and gel in the second half...or if they pack it in. I'm hoping for the former.
