Not sure I agree with the Tanny comment. I think we need an O line and WR's. If we can get blocking we are not that far off.

I know everyone looks at me as a Pats fan but I am not. Really though in our division the Pats are the team to beat, even they are banged up but find ways to win. Coaching is the difference. Bellacheat is a great coach like it or not.

Marshall is 1000x better than Wallace. Wallace won't even block for his teammates. He can't catch...can't block...what the hell is he good for?

Bottom line...this team is soft, and undisciplined. That
Falls squarely on the GM who brought the players in, and
The coaches who don't or can't prepare them to succeed.

Add in the fact that Philbin didn't have the pulse of his locker
Room, which allowed the Martin fiasco to occur, and it's very clear
That he was/is not ready to be a head coach.

Soft and undisciplined. Dysfunctional coaching and GM. Unprepared on game day. Unable to make adjustments at halftime. Bad play calling.
Mediocre quarterbacking. A finesse team that can't finesse it's way out of a closet. Lack of leadership. No heart.

This has been the legacy of the Miami Dolphins for decades now. Yet I cannot cut bait on this team. I am too emotionally invested. Many other Dolfans feel the same way.

There's not that much more to say. What else can we say. It's like a broken record every year.

A couple takes on the game :

1. The coach(es) did not have the team ready and prepared to play. There was no halftime adjustments made at all. Why not continue to use the two minute offense since it was successful?
2. Sherman sucks...We are the most predictable team in the league. We never move the pocket even though we have an athletic qb and an atrocious oline. We have a rb who is quick as hell and great in space and the only time we run a screen is on 3rd down and forever. Why not run a screen on first down?? Our teams major issue is the offense and I really do believe it falls on Sherman and the oline.
3. Mike Wallace does NOT attack the ball. He waits for the ball to come to him. Even on the last play of the game, when the ball was up for grabs he continued to run and let the ball come to him. Any real good receiver would have challenged for the ball...
4. Our defense showed up for half the game. Why we dont play Dion Jordan more is confusing me.
5. I personally think Tannehill is still the franchise qb. Play calling and poor oline has really held him back.
6. Nolan Carroll is the worst player on the team. He is beat on every play. There was one play where he should have intercepted the ball and he mistimed it and almost let up a huge play.

These are just some of my takes after a super frustrating game.

Sickofit-- You nailed it.

It all comes down to having good personnel--management and players. One or two very good players can do little without a solid team of average players supporting them. We don't have a solid team. Back-ups have to be nearly as good as the starters. If the starters are average, why accept a below average substitute? Tough decisions ahead for Mr. Ross. His first job should be to dismiss Ireland soon. Very soon. The next thing would be to begin the search for a proven GM.

Egh it's just a game. I used to get all pissy after the losses but my health is not worth this team. I'll root against them the rest of the year and hope for huge changes.

Not just that, but why do we take Cam Wake OUT of the game at all? He spent a ton of time on the sidelines on early downs. He's our best player. Why not have him on the field all the time?

Well if given 'the holes' almost any NFL running back can run through them...look at the third stringer that was running all over us in the 4th qtr last night. If it's all the line WHY were we able to run well against the 6-2 (at the time) Bengals last week with basically the same line for most of the game? I'm not saying they are not pitiful, which they are, but our running backs just aren't very good (maybe 'not serviceable') was a little harsh.

Every decision made in the offseason has backfired. All 3 big free agent acquisition were mistakes. Our team is worst today in all 3 phases of the games. Offense has nothing due to the lack of talent on Oline, defense strength the run - is no longer, currently worst in the league, special team Caleb Sturgis has been anything but special. This years MVP, punter Brandon Fields! Defense front 7 is not stopping the run nor putting pressure on qb. OC - Sherman hasn't shown me any positive signs. DC - Coyle Worst run defense
I've seen 2 or 3 instances where the time management has been mishandled, and that lays on the Head Coach!
So yeah, back to square one.

We've reached that point where it can't get any worse. We are the Buccaneers and Indians of old! WE SUCK!

I think the blame falls squarely on Ireland.

he's been here 5 years and still has nothing to show for it along the oline.

you build from the inside out and he's failed miserably along the oline.

we have the horses on D we just don't utilize them properly. coyle sucks.

Sherman is a complete boob.

regis is salvageable.
