Martin dropped in the draft because of a bad Pro-day.

Martin was going to be a bust in the NFL no matter where he was drafted. He is too soft.

Richie was signed by the Dolphins for the very reasons he is being crucified for - tough guy, hard hitting style of play.

This is beyond being solved in house. Its a PR nightmare for the NFL. It's on every news program. People who don't even watch the NFL are all over it.

I foresee all new front office and coaching staff. Ross isn't even going to much of a say in it all. He will be pressured by the League office.

Breaking:

All parties involved in this situation have gathered teams of Attorneys, they are preparing for all the dirt to come out.

The parties include: Martin, Incognito, the NFL, the NFLPA, and of course the Dolphins.

There will be blood.

I bet Martin's team of attorneys have been in place since he started documenting (saving) the texts and voicemails.

I'm hearing the Dolphina have privately reached out to Incognito to show him support. They believe Martin is using Incognito as a "scapegoat".

Could this get any worse? After Saban dumped the team...then Cam nearly destroyed it...now it looks like we need to clear the garbage and start from scratch yet again.

Also take into consideration how the Oline is starting to play better without him.

He stunk anyways...

Maybe this is what this organization needs. To get rid of all the crap.

Incognito = Crap.

This will help us overcome the media nightmare by getting us to the SB. Next year will be our year, a rise from the ashes story. We needed thsi type of scandal, makes for great media attention and soon a feel good story of human triumph.

if that's true then it's on Ireland. No way I would draft a player who wasn't known as being tough....unless he was an idiot kicker.

There is a lot of "new" info coming out...valid or not I don't know, but that's why I said in a previous post.....

Why talk about it since we have no real clue as to what really happened?

Jon Martin is a turd.

Richie Incognito is a dunce.

But Jon Martin is a turd.

Is there a link to that?

Truth- Tannehill said the same thing, that if you asked Martin a week before the incident who his best friend on the team was, he would have said Incognito...

I saw clips on the NFL Network from both Tannehill and Hartline defending Incognito. Tannehill said that if you saw Martin out at night, he was with Incognito. To the man, the team seems dumbfounded about why this is occurring.

Bizarre

IN MY OPINION, Jon Martin is a flat out turd, IF THE INFORMATION THAT HAS COME OUT TODAY IS CORRECT.

IN MY OPINION, He is locker room poison, IF THE INFORMATION THAT HAS COME OUT TODAY IS CORRECT.

Had to add those disclaimers so that his dad doesn't file a defamation suit against me.

I am a management-side employment lawyer, so every day I see bogus "harassment" and constructive discharge claims raised by employees who want to shake down their bosses for $$. IMO Martin is looking for a way to get paid following his abrupt walk out of the team. If he didn't try to raise as this as the reason for his walk out, he'd get no $$ while on the non football illness list. It's working already as the team is afraid to put him on the NFI list (he's still taking up a roster spot) and he's still getting paid. Not sure if he expected his story to become a national story, but here it is and he's stuck with it. He is apparently very intelligent so I woudn't be suprised if this is all part of a plan to het $$ from the phins and then get cut and go play with his boy Andrew Luck on the Colts, while we are left with national embarassment and yet another Ireland 2d round bust.

I don't really have any sympathy for Martin. If anything I feel bad for Incog who is dragged thru the mud by all the anti-bullying wusses who seem to comprise the media and lots of the other folks out there

Berk- I own a marina and a few years back, one of my employees, got into a fight wit his G/f and got thrown out of his place. He asked me if I could help him by letting him live on a boat I owned in the marina short term... He lived there for a year, at one point he stole a customer list from me and sold it to a competitor, so I fired him.. I found out about the stolen list when private upscale friends and customers were getting called from my competitor on their unlisted cell phones and began calling me asking what the hell was going on and who did I give there pct number to.... He went to work for the competitor, and then sued me through the NLRB... Claiming I hired him to be a night time security for the marina and he worked 22 hrs a day for me and I failed to pay him overtime and pay for his nighttime security work for over a year... I was facing double damages and $50,000 legal fees on his side and mine with a jury trial... And even if I prove his claims wrong but somewhere the jury felt sorry for him and found I didn't pay him for 1 hr.. I pay $100,000 in legal fees.... Biggest scam artist I ever seen, and my insurance company forced me to settle for $15,000 grand.... I know all about the game that can be played against business's... and the law is stacked against us, so it forces settlement even in complete scams.... You just got thumbs upthumbs up, for your line of work...I see the hustle everyday among my different business's. Unfortunatly, in todays world and judiciary, employees have become greater liabilities then assets. Send me a PM, do you have a florida license still.... I might need some advice from time to time.... It seems like such and injustice these days... I am sure there is place for employees to be protected but I have seen it only used by scammers, hustlers and lawyers that know the scam and work it...

Back to the Martin story, have you noticed his camp went quiet right after he got his paychecks guaranteed yesterday afternoon...
