Poor decision by the secondary defender!!!! The guy is stretched out UP IN THE AIR to make a "body fully in the air" catch.
When that happens, even our junior high school coaches told us that "Hey look, all you have to do is touch him to make a tackle. He's GONNA come down on the ground. That's the laws of physics. So you need to touch him and grab for the ball to keep it from being complete."
Our guy wrapped up for the tackle,....as if that was a question. The guy was falling down. Our guy never batted at the ball.

Not Sturgis fault at all. My faith in Wallace is 0 right now. Tanne is going to figure it out but our tackles have to learn to win more one on one battles than they lose. I tag this loss on our O tackles.

Exactly right Mizzou.
Martin and Clabo were atrocious. Its one thing if you get beat around the edge by smaller guys. At least there is a pocket for the QB to step up into.
But those guys were getting BULL RUSHED by guys they have 30-50 lbs on. Not once, or even twice. Bot BOTH of them, on nearly every pass play in the 4th quarter.

This team is definately better than last years but the offensive line problem has been ongoing. There is positives in every other positions but the oline.

Was it just me or did anyone else have flashbacks to the Sparano and Henne show today? No adjustments, predictable, unimaginative play calling, the line is poor but i'm sorry, Tannehill showed ZERO pocket awareness today. Very Henne-looking IMO.
Dicked around with Winston, couldn't be any worse that anyone on the line. Why not try Thomas, is he worse that these guys?
Most were right, Wallace isn't a #1 and anything more than a deep threat and our QB keeps underthrowing him! Could have had 3-4 TD's if Tannehill could have got it to them

Clearly RT has issues with pocket awareness. But you can't be "aware" when there is no "pocket".
When your LT and RT get driven straight back to the point the QB is going to set up there is no pocket.
That happened so many times in the 3rd and 4th quarter that I lost count.
As for the play calling...I'm not a Mike Sherman fan, but in fairness...if you don't pass block worth a shit you could have Bill Walsh calling plays and you will get what you got today.
There are a bunch of sacks this year that are on RT. I don't think there was one in this game that was even remotely his fault.

I know they are lacking individual talent Truth. but they 'synergy', for lack of a better word, is just not there. At times they play well like the first half of N.O. game there were NO sacks and we were running all over them. Two turnovers and a few bad D plays later, they laid down. To me, the QB is part of this 'synergy' he can make a line look much better or much worse than they are. Today...well they BOTH looked bad.
