Finishing the game...a notable improvement

Date: September 22, 2013 05:32PM Last week, Luck had the ball at the end of the game, with the chance to win with a touchdown drive.
Our DEFENSE put the game away by stopping the opponent. This week, Tannehill had the ball at the end of the game, with the chance to win with a touchdown drive. Our OFFENSE put the game away by scoring a TD on the final drive. For how many years were we unable to finish the game? I know this is only three weeks into the season, but what we've seen so far on both sides of the ball in the fourth quarter has been VERY encouraging. We are facing an undefeated opponent on their turf next week. It's going to be a very tough game, but we have a good chance! **edited for spelling error Edited 1 time(s). 1. 4th quarter comebacks 2. Effective halftime adjustments 3. Very few penalties It was a formula that worked for us with Shula, and it's working again. It's amazing how many coaches we've had in-between that couldn't accomplish these things with the team. Re: Finishing the game...a notable improvement

Guys stepping up and making plays when we desperately need them. Gibson, Miller, Tannehill all did this yesterday and that catch by Sims was bigtime. Edited 1 time(s).
