Miami's new uniforms slipped out yesterday(?).

It's hard to tell if I like them or not, as seeing them in pictures is different than seeing them live.

I can say I don't like the helmets -- solid stripe and the Dolphin just doesn't look right.

It was mentioned earlier that the new uniforms will have the look of the old uniforms (1972). The color shade doesn't look like the old.

Oh well, what do you guys think, for those who have seen them?

I'd like there to be at least *some* orange on the uniform, whether it be the outline of the numerals on the jersey, or stripes on the side, the printing of the team name, or at least the socks?

I'm not a huge fan of the orange jerseys, but I do think there needs to be at least some orange somewhere on the uni.

I hadn't seen that photo 'til now. I still say the '72 Fins (Griese) is the best.

Now that I see the side view with subtle orange accents, I like it better.

We win a SB in those unis, then I'll REALLY like it.

Marino got fined 10k by the league for that sock infringement.

I'm with you JC, I'd personally like to see more Orange, but they really are not a bad design. Just different.

Not his fault. Thats always the way he wore his uniform , you just didn't see it under his brace.

LoL. I watched just about every single game Marino ever played in, and I never noticed that. So, he was always sporting his socks prison style? Such a gangsta!

As for the brace, I think that holds true for most of his uniform towards the end of his career. Dude looked like a bionic man. I vaguely remember reading or hearing somewhere that his knees look like oak tree knots now, and that he has trouble working on the set in his TV gig.

I am starting to warm up to these new uni's. A division title would help me enjoy them even further of course.

I like the new uniforms. They have good accents and have a good look of future and past mixed together. Not gaudy and not boring.

Hey it could be worse. We could have uniforms like Pitts throwbacks haha.

Idk, there's only so much you can do to make a dolphin look bad ass without going cheesy.

It looks like a cruise ship logo. Wouldn't have expected anything different from Ross and Co.

The people running this team continue to disrespect its past and ignore the fans. Maybe because they want to move the team elsewhere and blame the fans for not filling the stadium.

I don't mind the new uniforms, the new logo still reminds me of a lonely lady's little friend.

The funny part is that if the new logo was the original logo and we were changing to the cartoon dolphin with the "M" helmet....everyone would still be just as unhappy.

The new Dolphin looks feminin. It looks like a logo for a feminin product. Worst logo in the NFL. If Ross wanted to sell more shirts, he should have brought back the original.

The Logos are supposed to be cartoonish. All 31 others are. There were so many other cool logos out there this one was one of the worst from the beginning. Nothing cool about it. Just a sketch of a mammal. I wish this stadium deal blew up in Ross's face before the Logo came out. He might have been more inclined to just leave well enough alone. He keeps talking about a new owner. That person is going to make a bundle on merchandise after he changes it back.

Actually I think you may be onto something there. The new logo might be the New Coke (does anyone remember that---from the mid 1980s) of the Miami Dolphins!

Oh yeah! That new Formula blew up in their faces. HRoss lost sight of what a Logo is supposed to be. Its a caricature of a Team .Its supposed to be unrealistic. A NFL team should represent courage or an attitude . Its the face of a brand. What he has now would work well for SeaWorld. It represents a realistic mammal. It doesn't convey any fighting sprit or anything a NFL team should represent.

I can deal with the new colors though. Actually kinda like it.
