I think this team can't trust Daniel Thomas to stay healthy. I would like this team to draft a running back perhaps mid round or with even our extra compensatory pick. If we can't run the ball then memories of the 80's dolphins will flash back in my head I'm afraid.
I don't think we can count on thomas at all, even if he stays healthy (unlikely) he hasn't shown he is all that good. Which leaves only lamar miller---who I think will be great but who knows. We need to take a RB for sure, I'd be happy taking one in the 3d. Word is we like Gio Bernard from NC

YES absolutely. Not a Priority but we need some depth at that position. Miller has potential but is unproven. Thomas is a bust IMO. Injuries and a case of the dropsies. Look at all the years of Dan Marino. We need to learn from the mistakes of the past and get a running game as well as a Pass attack. Mid to later rounds need to add a new back.

Precisely

Another one of my complaints. They gave him NO PLAYING TIME to speak of, even LATE last season.

But with Wallace having been signed, I'd even take one at no. 12, not saying there is a great rb available this year worth it but just saying that unlike others, I'd NOT go wide receiver in light of the Wallace signing, I'd go OL, Def. Rusher, CB or even RB.
Just EXPOSES how deficient we are at NUMEROUS positions and how we can't afford to stock up at one position.
If we don't know what Lamar Miller can do because they didn't play him and he was sitting on the bench, then we have even less information about what someone just on our roster can do. Not criticizing your suggestion, bnf, but just criticizing the coaching staff for not experimenting in a year (last year) where everybody KNEW we were going nowhere.
I think that finding a suitable power back to compliment Lamar Miller might be the key to regaining a dominant football team near future. Too me it is very important to be able to run the football to set up the pass, and play action as well. Christine Michael has talent, but is labeled as undisciplined that won't go over well with this head coach. Their are not that many power backs available. Le' veon Bell might be the best available this up coming draft.

Would you guys take a chance on Zac Line, and maybe pair him with Lamar Miller. Dude ran for over 4000 yards at SMU. I don't know myself ran a slow 40 for at the combine, but ran a 4.6 at his pro day. I watched him play, and he reminds me of a smaller version of Csonka. Or is he just a full back and an occasional short yardage back. Daniel Thomas can't make 4th and 1 for any thing. Remember last year.
I would take a late round flyer on Miguel Maysonet as well. He is only 5ft 9in 215lbs, but ran for many yards at Stony Brook. Remember Alfred Morris last year Robert Griffin does not become good unless Morris takes the pressure off of him by keeping the balance in that teams offense. Take away Morris, and Griffin it not quite as effective with out a strong running game.

I had a problem with that not only last year (under Philbin) but also prior to that with Sparano. The young guys either sat on the sidelines or played so little they were unable to show what they could or could not do.
Miller was only able to give a glimpse of his talent. If he was as good as the coaches are now indicating, then why wasn't he played more? Was it because Bush was doing such a great job...or was it because Bush was getting so much more money?
Anyway, these coaches need to start learning how to get their guys out on the field to show their stuff.
I've heard all the talk about Egnew, but did he really receive a fair shot last season?
Some bad luck forced Eddie Lacy to miss the Senior Bowl and the Combine. If he falls to the 2nd round and Miami has two picks there, we'd be fools not to draft him. If not him then Florida running back Mike Gillislee could be a possibility. Stick with the SEC in running backs and you can't go wrong. Or go get someone from Kansas State again and we'll be in the same spot next next....
Knile Davis 6ft 223 lbs 4.33 40 yard dsah might be the best running back on the board if he can stay healthy. Ran for over 1200 yards back in 2010. I would take a mid round flyer on this player. He could be the power back to compliment Lamar Miller.

Danny Thomas? Ummm....not sure where you are going with that.
