Disrespectful logo? They look pretty similar to me. I am not sure which one you said you like....

Whew...coulda been a lot worse.

I have no problem with it. I was really worried that it'd...you know...suck.

I for one hate this new logo... I for one won't purchase any item of dolphin’s apparel with this on it.

I can get used to it. Just think of all the new female fans we will get because of this logo. There is also the new possible alliance with sea world and it might even draw potential interest from Micky Arison! A dream come true.

Ditto. I actually kind of like it. I'll withhold judgement until I see the full uniform though.

The movement of the dolphin indicate it's swimming so how, then, can it be in front of the sun?

I'm not "wowed" by it, but I don't hate it either.

I like that they got back to the aqua of the 80's and away from the teal.

That is the same logo (as with the womans hand in the photo) but it does not show a dolphin going straight accross (as Armondo claims). It is angled up. Much better.

I don't think it's lame at all. I think it's pretty cool.

After 40 years of no championships (anniversary), it is time for a change. I never understood the cartoonish dolphin with a "M" on it anyway. It should have been the Dolphin's logo on the helmet. There are no helmets with "M's" on them. Ther are no dolphins that wear helmets. It's childish 70's, Walt Disney stuff.

What's the point of changing it if you're not going to "change" it? Like when JJ was here and we went from the smiling dolphin to the scowling dolphin....waste of money and stupid.

The new logo is modern. Not cartoonish. Very cool. The old one was too hokey and reminded me of "snow flake".

I understand some of you do not like change but not much we can do about it. The new logo is still basically the same symbols....just a sun burst that actually looks like a sun burst.

With all due respect....saying it's disrespectful may be going overboard.

It DOES...you know...suck. I agree with the guys that say it's not a good FOOTBALL logo. It looks like an advertisement for SeaWorld or some cruise line - although, if you look carefully, you can almost see the hook in its mouth. Terrible.

i think we should have definitely gone with the leaping dolphin instead of the swimming/tail swishing/sashaying dolphin. And it should have a scowl on its face to look mean. And maybe an AR-15 tucked under it's fin. And dangling a cigarette from it's scowling mouth. That would definitely intimidate the other teams.

It's better than the current cartoonish one.

Since when are Team Logo's realistic? Its a freakin Logo! Not Animal Planet!? The Tail looks like a limp wrist. We better win because losing with no self respect is MUCH worse then losing with some.
