Cap Room?

Anyone know how much left with the Moore & Hartline signings?

Hope we don't take a $10M hit for a backup QB and a WR that scored 1 TDa year each of the last 3 years

Impossible to say without knowing the details of the contracts. But, considering that all of the backup QBs last offseason got deals around $3.5M, and Moore was arguably the best one on the market this year, his salary isn't surprising. And considering what Laurent Robinson, Robert Meachem, Pierre Garcon, and Josh Morgan got last year, Hartline's salary isn't surprising, either.

And again, Fins' fans should be hoping they take a decent cap hit on these guys this year when the room is there. The hit happens sooner or later. When the hit later is too big, that's when teams find themselves in cap hell.

I believe we had around 37 million after we franchised Starks. Moore seems to be a 4 million cap hit on a straight forward 2 year 8 million deal. It has been said Hartline has a 3 million dollar cap hit this year.. So that would be around 30 million left in Cap room. If Hartline took his full hit of 6 million a year on the cap which I dont believe to be the case, that would leave 27 million left give or take....
