We'll there are alot of New England fans here on the Florida Panhandle, and all of them continously ask me if we are going to resign Hartline.
I also live in New England, and I have not heard one person talk about signing Hartline. It doesn't mean Belichick doesn't like him, or wouldn't go after him. But, there is hardly a buzz about Hartline's pending free agency. I know it's hard for Dolphins' fans to relate to, but Pats' fans are currently obsessed with making a Super Bowl run, and are not the least bit concerned with the offseason.
Another angle supporting Mark's point is that even if they WERE interested in Hartline, would they really make that known?
I can see all downsides on showing your interests (e.g., other teams decide to look closer, the player demands more, his team offers more) and no downside from keeping your mouth (formal or informal channels) shut.
