I would tend to agree IF......we sign a "top" FA. If we don't....
Again, no matter what happens during the offseason, when it comes to Miami's pick, Ireland is going with his big board, no matter who that player is. If their #1 guy is there, that's who they go with, UNLESS....
Miami does get that #1 WR during FA, AND.....Ireland's big board has a WR at #1, but another player at 1A, then he may forego that WR, UNLESS.....<chuckle> Miami can get a trading partner to move down, then grab that WR later in the 1st.

Well, we need more than 1 WR. We need at least 2. If you only get one, what happens when he gets hurt? Adding 2 WR is imperative. Bess is a free agent at the end of this season. There are only two big name WRs in free agency who fit for us. Dwayne Bowe is a big, physical guy who is more of a possession receiver. Would he be an upgrade for us? Yes, but he's not a great fit for what we need. That leaves Greg Jennings and Mike Wallace. What if Pittsburgh tags Mike Wallace again? What if Jennings takes less money to stay in Green Bay?
There is no guarantee that we'll get a big name WR in free agency. And we need at least two significant WR additions (not including re-signing Hartline). I believe one of our tops picks will absolutely be a WR, maybe even the first rounder.
I went to a Seattle news website to see if there was any blowback on the "icing" call. There wasn't but, there was a consensus that the Seahawks would be looking to add a "deep threat" WR and some help on the O-line. Sound familiar? The point is that there will be several teams bidding for the services of the few WRs available. Either Jennings or Wallace is by no means, a certainty in Mia.
