Concur.

I've been with the Fins through ALL of their ups and downs, from undefeated season through now (with that one-win season thrown in there).

I will ALWAYS be a Finsfan, no matter the record, however....

I, like Crowder, cannot get "excited" about any season, moves, players, coaches, etc. I've been let down too many times.

I also play it by ear, and just watch as my Fins (over the last few years) just sputter along. I have no doubt that they will make it to the top of the pile and stay there, hopefully soon. Once they have winning SEASONS, then I can get excited. Until then....

Personally I find it pretty sad when someone goes back and cherry picks their prior comments and presents them as evidence of their "superior" football prognostication skills.

I wanted him gone in a big way 3 years ago. He survived and I've tried to be a supportive fan -- whereas you seem intent in proving you now big stuff about football. Whatever. If that's your gig and your ego is that needy -- indulge yourself.

In addition -- I've hoped Philbin is finally the answer. And there have been "moments" when it has appeared he was. But I can't support him as HC when he has consistently lost to teams he should have beat. That's the end of the line for me.

But yea -- we get it eesti. We're ALL so lucky to have a football savant like you posting your brilliance and Zen-like stats for our edification.

Funny but I'm not the one following you around with a hard on like some love struck teenager. I know it's probably difficult to digest as you sit on your couch eating oreos, trying to be clever and wishing you had more to offer than a view of your 55" flat screen.

I'm here to talk football and actually do just that with most of the posters around here. It only bothers people like you that I quote facts and stats because you would rather go off on some tangent about your issues with the Mason-Dixon line, coitus, snot flow and Lithuanian chefs or talk about yourself in the third person. My orginal post on this topic is still brilliant a year later.

I knew that going into the season he could not throw the deep ball and he had not pocket awarness, there was ZERO imporvement in those areas.

Talk about nailing it!!!

What are you going to say when he turns it all around next year?

Well, Tanny did improve on pocket awareness. His sacks early in the season was as a result of holding the ball too long.

He did not suffer that as much after bullygate.

He suffered a backslide against Buffalo but they have a great pass rushing line.

He suffered no sacks due to holding on to the ball too long against the Jets.

So all and all, I would say he corrected that problem in the second half of the season but that doesn't mean that just because you now have pocket awareness, you can hit the deep receiver who has broken away from his coverage. Those are two different skills.
