We suck at scoring touchdowns, yards don't mean sh*t, this team needs to learn how to score.. I am so tired of boring football... Boring football leads to nobody in the stands...

Ok so they call a running play on 3rd & 3 inside Jax's 10 yard line, and of course it goes backwards. No wonder there's plenty of empty seats. This is such a perfect team for a snore-fest.

Lol, nice try, the hands comment was in regards to his college fumbling problems. The scout on the guy was he has small hands which some blamed for his fumble problems..

Philbin is becoming a joke of a coach! Settling for FGs?!
And why is he surrendering the 20 yd line on kickoffs?!
He needs to kick it high and shallow (landing at the GL) and then covering it inside the 20 with a chance to knock it loose!! His coverage team is not getting any better watching it go through the EZ!
Chyren, I hear what you are saying, but ultimately Henne didn't shown that ability to win close games, score when he had to.. If RT is unable to do that after 3 years I imagine he will be run out of town as well, no matter the team around them, good or bad.. It is a catch 22 a great Qb makes Mediocre WR look great and mediocre Qb makes a mediocre WR look mediocre..

Seriously?
Of course you kick the FG there. It puts you up 13 going into the 4th quarter and even if they get 2 TD's down the stretch you can win with a FG.
You get stopped there and they score two TD's in the 4th and you need a TD to win.
The more options Rt has in the passing game in the red zone the better he does, as well as moving him out of the pocket

So we win the game by 21 points and people are still bitching....
RT looks good. Probably his best QB rating of the year. 2 td's and no int's plus a 2 pt conversion...78% completion rate. Rushes for 52 yards. No bad throws all day but his 9" hands really held him back.
If not for the two dropped TD passes, Tannehill has 12 Td's and 12 int's on the year. That's 24/28 260 yards, 4 td's and 0 ints.
Luck has 18/18 and more turnovers than ANY QB in the league. I think his 10 inch hands are too big. That why he has all those fumbles.
Kudos to Hartline. 1002 yards with 2 games to go.
Bush needs 105 yards to surpass 1000 again.

Tannehill had a good game. It came against a poor defense and a team that looked like it could care less.
But it was a good game. And the best part is that he improved upon his red zone play. This is a reason for encouragement.
As for the Luck comparisons.... I wouldn't make the assumption that Luck didn't have the same "ifs". I'm sure Luck has had dropped TDs, all QBs have them. Right now, Luck is just a better QB.

Jax certainly looked flat, but they are still an NFL team. Hopefully, Ryan Tannehill can look back on this game, and the things he did right, as a basis for moving forward. If he can carry this performance through to Buffalo then that will say a lot.
If he can carry it through and have a good performance against Buffalo and New England, then we may have something to look forward to next year. Otherwise, time to consider drafting another QB.
First off, I'm happy the Dolphins won; I'm glad the D held the JAGS to 3 points. It looked pretty effy there for a while though.
Secondly, I agree this was a snoozer of a game. Both teams are lackluster overall and both have a lot of holes to fill to get better. The 2 win record of the JAGS shows they are pretty incompetent; our pathetic 6 wins shows were are simply mediocre as a team.
While Bush did have a nice long run, his unwillingness to encounter a defensive player stymies his explosiveness. Even Rich Gannon was referencing his elusive no-contact running style during the broadcast. Unfortunately, after watching him perform the past couple of years, I just don't think he's the answer for our at RB. Sherman hasn't used him well to exploit his open field running. To many tries up the middle with Bush seldom results in a positive gain. (Will we see Reggie on Dancing with the Stars? He can already Cha-cha.)
This guy Shorts III seems to be able to catch the ball for the JAGS. Justin Blackmon also shows promise. However, I also noticed his "stamina" was showing, or lack thereof. He needs to work on that but, he's a keeper for them.
You can easily see the lack of weapons we have on offensive from this game. Scoring points by us isn't easy even against a terrible defense. A good time would have buried the JAGS and made scoring look easy. Most of us know this....just thinking out loud.
As for Hartline, I'm happy for him. He's a keeper, like Bess. We just need a top receiver to open the field up and a stronger WR bench.
I was actually responding to 808's post, but I know you are easily confused...carry on but I am sure you will keep stalking me....
