I really hope they do not give any picks for other team players...Just play it out and draft your own.

I'd offer matt moore straight up for bowe. he'd instantly be the best qb on the chiefs roster, he knows daboll's offense, and we could just resign garrard as a vet backup.

I'm of the belief that there's more value in a player that's made a roster two years in a row and sits the bench because he's playing behind a stout group at his position than a shot in the dark in the 4th or 5th round.

Not that a gem can't be found that late but there's very little value left to be had.

Get whatever Value you can for Moore. Anything . My wish is for some Killer defense to Finally , Finally Balance this team out. We have some great pieces , but we need a shutdown corner and maybe a Middlelinebacker/Safety.

I understand your point. And it makes sense but weve missed so many times trying to trade for other teams trash that iam tired of it.

weve had some very good defneses in the past weve zach jt madison and surtain all pro bowl players in the same team and we couldnt accomplish anything because the offense was so bad.

I think we are at a point where both the offense and defense are getting to play at the same level.

Pass offense has improved a lot. I guess a good qb can make anybody look good.......just last year everyone was getting ready to dump hartline.

The OL is almost there i think we can get as far as anybody in this league with this OL as long as jake long stays healthy.

Run offense still needs that beast rb who can run over people....I think we can get far with bush as long as he is healthy.

Pass defense is doing good better than i thought it would but because we are putting some pressure on qbs.

run defense has dominated at times soliai is getting to the next level....Wake should be in the pro bowl and olivies vernon has shown a lot of upside. Starks might be one of the best.

Special teams has shown the most improvement of all as far as coverage and punting.........i think carpenter will be alright. Just a couple of years ago our special teams coverage was a mess......if anybody remembers.

we're not getting more than a 5th round pick for moore. better to have him here the rest of the year than that. you guys who think we are getting dwayne bowe for him are kidding yourselves

KC is tanking this year I bet. They absolutely need a franchise QB. Trading for any competent QB could derail that plan so they won't be interested.

I agree.

Geno Smith will be the #1 pick.

if Moore gets traded, it will be to a team that is competeting for a playoff spot who loses its QB and needs a short term fix, not a crap team like KC

I agree that Miami needs to draft its own #1 WR in next year's draft, and they will have a fantastic opportunity to do so with the number of early round picks they have.

With Bowe, KC could possibly take Moore and a 4th or 5th rounder, but Miami will (probably) have to pay big bucks for Bowe next year. Not sure he would be worth it. He may be, but I don't know. Is it a chance Miami is willing to take?

A starting WR could (possibly) be found in the 4th and/or 5th round also, but if I were Ireland, I would be looking at drafting one in the 2nd round. That first round must be reserved for the top playmaker available, no matter the position.

Are there any stud TE's coming out next year?

GOTTA HIDE! Before I do, I would remind that Moore actually went something like 6-3 when he took over so if a team is desperate for a starting QB right now.......

Are these guys high round talent? If they are, Miami will not get them -- they have greater needs elsewhere and that's where their top two rounds of picks will be.

First round will be best player available. Second round will (probably) be WR and DB. If there is a top-notch LB there, then substitute one of those picks for that LB.

Most of the top TE prospects project into that 2nd half or round 1 or 1st half of round 2.

Few guys are so athletically gifted (like Vernon Davis) that they smeak into the first 16 picks of the draft.

All three of these guys are top TE prospects that fit that early 2nd projection. Any of them could move into the first round or drop to the 3rd or 4th based on pre draft workouts.

We need to find a Hernandez (113) or Graham (95) in later rounds. Unfortunately I think those guys probably boosted the stock of unknown/inexperienced athetic TE's.
