I, personally, was never upset Miami took Tanney. I was for it, mainly because Miami had not drafted a QB in the first round since Marino, and Tanney had a lot of positives. If he was Ireland's choice at that pick, I was fine with it, and he was. He is playing well, and hopefully can get even better.

Hard to compare Tanney with one HOFer and two more that will be there as soon as they are eligible, but....he is playing well, and in some instances, better (during their rookie seasons). Even Dan didn't throw for the 400+ yards that Tanney did (as a rookie).

I've said it before, I am not expecting Tanney to be the next Marino; there is no other Marino that I have seen; one of a kind! Peyton is special and Brady shocked the football world.

Hyped up about Flynn? Negative, Ghost Rider! I never wanted Flynn, and I was a little shaky on Peyton. Granted, Peyton has come through just fine, but Flynn....forget it.

It's more than a little unfair (and early) to compare Ryan to Dan or Brady or Manning unless it a comparison for the first 6 starts.

Capkoi i never wanted flynn either.......I admit i didnt want tannehill but with that said i never wanted flynn either.

I wanted manning but from the looks of it looks like we ended up with the best bargain.

1. Looks like tannehill is going to be really good. So far!!!!!!

2. Manning is at the end of his career and i doubt he wins a superbowl with the broncos.

3. And flynn turned out to be a bust.

To be fair to DolfanKing, he may be medical but I do believe he is a dolphin fan. He just cannot admit he might have been wrong.

For as much as he recently says, "We have to wait and see." He never ALSO SAID AT THE SAME TIME, I might have been wrong.

Some people just cannot do that.

I bet you soon he will have to admit he was wrong!

He won't even admit it at the end of the year if we go on to not lose another game including the Super Bowl. He will say that the credit goes someone else and will say "we'll have to wait and see next year."

No, I would have to say that I believe he would give kudos to Tanney, but as far as his wait and see for next year, I kinda agree with him on that, also. Why?

Sophmore slump, along with defenses getting a good read on him. Cam is a good example.

I forsee Tanney doing well for Miami through his whole career, and hopefully he can get better each year and finally get Miami back to prominence.
