Sitting here at this time watching the Bills game hoping the Bills lose.
Just after I started typing the last sentence, Brad Smith, the kick returner returned kickoff for a touchdown.
Bills have Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller. Both, Big fast, powerful and unstoppable.
We have Reggie Bush. Don't get me wrong, if he can fake to an opening, he's a threat on every play. But doesn't have the power.
It seems all our running backs or either small and can get tackled by a leaf that hits them or are bigger backs who don't have much more power like Daniel Thomas.
How come Buffalo has two and we don't have one?
For those who poo-poo this thread, remember, we have yet to play them and we do twice and we're going to have to face those two.
Well the Bills invested heavily in the RB position. Jackson was a nice find but now they are paying him quite a bit on his brand new contract. Spiller was a top 10 selection only two years ago. That is why they are loaded at RB. Before their RB worry you too much just remember that Fitz is their QB.

Like Tannehill, he has yet to show that he will be a superstar. But we can keep on believing.
It has become a 2 back league. You can't run smaller backer 20 times a game. I like Miller. Hopefully Thomas can get it together or we find a back that can run inside
Stepfan Taylor of Stanford is another candidate
Need Marshawn Lynch type. Maybe trade for Lagarette Blount?

watched him play a lot in college, and he's been great in limited touches this season, so I've got faith. man it must really suck being a fan of a team when you think every player is horrible and won't even amount to anything

Dolfanking,
Hey man do you ever have ANYTHING to say that is remotely positive in regards to this team?
I don't get you. Most people join forums to add opinions or look for help with certain things but you come on here and spread your negative sh*t and I just dont understand if you hate this team, players, coaches, owners etc so much then WHY THE F*CK DO YOU EVEN BOTHER?
I don't know about unstoppable. Spiller was being touted as a bust before a big game this year. His best season was just over 5oo yards. He had a big game vs the Jets to start the year and another against the Chiefs. Neither defense is that good this year. He has not had a hundered yard game since.
Fred Jackson 1 1k season in 5 years.
Both have 70 yards rushing today and are about to get beat by Tennessee. 26 seconds left and down by 1.
Well, the Bills just lost. Or the Jills just lost. 34 seconds left to go in the game, less than a field goal behind, 4th and 2 on about their thirty, What do you do?????
HELL, you gotta try to run for the 2 yards. The Jills attempt a 20 yard pass incomplete.
The Crowd boos Ryan Fitzpatrick.
HELL FOOTBALL FANS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL THESE DAYS!

I've said the defense is good and Reggie Bush is good. But I seem to get flamed for that because I don't agree that Tannehill will be the next Marino and Miller the next Kiick.
If I ever disagree with anyone about any player on this team, then I'm a negative troll and hater. That is all on you.

Yep. Tanny better learn to kick FGs, run block, and catch his own passes if he's going to be any good.

Defense and conservative playcalling is why we won.
Tannehill is no doubt a decent QB, but he is in no way carrying the team.
Why does anyone even engage DK anymore, it's obvious he's a fan of another team or a complete tool....either way, if you guys ignore him he'll fade away.

I swear to God Chyren... if I hear one more person call Daniel Thomas big I'm going to lose my mind!! I DONT CARE WHAT HE'S LISTED AT!! There's no way this guy is any bigger than Pat White!
LOL. Cool down, Panther. Okay. But you know, the reason I really hate the pick so much is that I thought we lost the chance to draft Ryan Mallett. Yeah, he hasn't seen the field in all those year but look who he has to beat out, Tom Brady.
But the real reason I am glad we did not get him is that we probably would not have drafted Ryan Tannehill.

Your such a ****bag. has lamar miller been up for Rookiw of the month/week honors? Has he ran for 200+yds in a game , the eqivilant of a 400 yd game for a QB? I'm not saying anything negative about Miller and I hope he is great, but comparing Tanny's rookie season to his is about as dumb as Tony Saprano's offense. Tanny has proved he can be a Superstar absolutely. **** me. Hard.
I up for trading a 3rd for DeAngelo Williams.
They are completely mis-using this guy. If they were using him correctly, they'd be a much better team. That coach has his head up his a$$!

hells no! that guy is one of the highest paid RBs in the league and can't even crack 10 yards rushing in his last few games.
guys, we don't need to spend big money or high draft picks on RBs. We've got Bush as the present and L Miller as the future. if we need someone else we can take him in the draft after the 2d round. maybe we can trade D Thomas for a sack of marbles

Sorry Brother, he has always had a fumblitis. Even back in College. But this year he seemed to be a bit stronger then your right he got his bell rung. He's a bust IMO. Thank Tony again. We need to move on.
true, but RBs are considered more "sure things" than most positions. If you trade up into the second to take one, he better be something special. This guy thomas wasn't even that special in college---not especially big, fast, strong, or elusive. I remember seeing his highlghts after we took him and all his best runs were like 10-15 yards (big whoop). Compare this to what Lamar Miller showed in college.
I didn't like the Thomas pick from the beginning.

Exactly. The minute they moved UP to get a RB With Ricky Williams still in Free agency with some Gas left in the Tank I knew we were screwed. It was wrong from every perspective.
