What's DK going to say about Tannehill now?

Lets just face reality here, Hartline is at best, a #2 WR. He is leading the league because of RT. that's what elite QB's do, they make everyone around them better.
Ryan is a star. I am saying it right now in 4-5 years we will have won atleast 1 Superbowl.
Don't disrespect Hartline... The kid is definitely a footballer and all he does is make plays...
Him and Bess are both LEGIT and all we need another serious footballer @WR and speed @TE and we're ALL over the place!
But we gotta keep Reggie and I'd unload Thomas for a 3rd if we can make that kind of move (highly doubtful). The question is if Lamar can handle the mental aspect of the NFL???
Not sure on that one.
A&O I'm glad you're optimistic. And you have a reason to be!
And whatever his age is -- he's still got serious NFL game.
I'd love to believe Lamar is a star on the rise but he's got a lot to (mentally) prove yet IMO.
I just think we have to keep a kid like Reggie because he's done nothing but be a consummate PRO for this franchise --- especially at a time when we really needed someone to set a positive example. That has to be rewarded or the whole deal is a scam IMO.
Too Bad you've been away for awhile BNF. You would have seen me and DK get into one of the bloodiest fights this board has ever seen. JC had to call a stop to it.
I sure hope so A&O. Funny how it took so long for this F.O. to see the light with respect to drafting QB's. Actually not funny. It's been downright painful as a fan for them taking so long.

Completely agree, I think we need to keep Bush. However, let's pay most of it in a signing bonus up front, keep the rest of it off the cap, and give ourselves an out after 3 years. I am thinking Ireland will let Bush test the FA market unless he has a monster season. I'd guess Bush comes back and takes a reasonable deal, again unless he has a monster year.

You would think if Ryan Tannehill was a star, he would have finished the game himself and not have to rely on the defense to finish the game for him.... Just sayin

That's right. I expected a lot more from Ryan. He should have had his arse out there pulling on the left side to help out Incognito and Long since they couldn't get Bush more than 3 yards on that final drive. Especially on that run to the left for -1 yard.
He should have also helped Clay get more than 5 yards on that 3rd and 8 play. He should have pulled him back in bounds before he went out when we we were trying to eat up the clock with 3 minutes left.
Ryan Tannehill did a good job not turning over the ball and being efficient. But he also didnt throw any TD's.. I like what I am seeing but when you guys say the guy is playing like a star, and we have the next Marino I think that is a bit premature. WHen the guy has 2 TD and 6 interceptions in 5 games, I think you are a bit overly anxious in declaring the next Micheal Jordan.. If that makes me an idot in your eyes, that is burden I have no problem bearing...lol.. cheers...
It is hard to be declared elite or a star in my eyes, when you dont even avg a TD pass a game, dont you think? That is not me bashing Tannehill, that is just my assessment...

Awe hells no, a New Yorks mom reference, I almost just p.ssed my pants
He's gone but he'll be back if either a mistake by RT costs us the game or if RT even has an off day. He can't help himself. He's medical about it as I have said.

I think your theory and my theory of DK been a dolphan might a bit premature.
IMHO he was a fan of .....(gang.....Green) i mean a fan of another team whos hope was that Tannehill would become a bust.

Thats a pretty silly statement coming from you bro, just saying. this is a TEAM sport. Just ask Dan Marino.
You guys are annointing him our next Dan Marino or Joe Montana, but he has only 2 passing TD's and 6 interceptions in 5 games... Surely you can see the irony in that? I like the kid, I have never said he is a bust. Please if you are going to talk about me, at least post my comments as quotes so you can be accurate, not paint your own picture of me through your distorted observations... I want Tannehill to be a star, to be elite but you want to paint me as this hater because I am not as gung ho as you about his accomplishments to this point... His QBR has come to life in the last 2 weeks, he didnt turn the ball over this week, all positives.. But I am not going to make him into something he is not, so I can feel better about my team... Whatever drives you to be like that great, it just isnt me... I root for my team, and obviously have a different analytical approach to it then some... Glad for you and glad for me, but lets leave the personal attacks out of it...

TCP,
You are right I am looking for the offense to finish... We have had the ball alot on offense with chances to finish the game the last few weeks and have not..
This week the defense stepped up and did finish, that is why there is a difference in the W column IMO... The offense doesnt know how to finish at this point and has problem with scoring in the passing game... also this post was in refence to the fact others said Hartline was not that good and Tannehill was so good he made others Stars... So if you are that type of star why didnt you finish..
