Media Ignores Arizona/Fins game.

ESPN and other national sports coverage media have largely ignored the nail biting game between these teams. I hated the outcome (again) but in reality it was a very good football game from my perspective. It was a "nail biter" if you were a fan of either team.

Tannehill had a great game; Wake got 4 sacks; Hartline had an incredible receiving day. Mistakes were committed on both sides--it was a struggle. It was hard fought. Our team fought hard but lost.

It appears neither team is respected, and the Cardinals remain unbeaten. All the hype goes to Peyton Manning (who I like to watch); to the Jets for their (didn't show up to play) game; NE and their come back big win. The Fins made a great game of it. It was worthy of MNF.

Tannehill is showing that he is quite talented.

and without receivers...Wait until we get a couple of WR prospects...Im not really mad we are losing...Its not like we are going to the playoffs anyways...

When you have players such as nanee who give the game away like that....there is no way you can win. cant wait until he is out of here. Because he is a burden to this team bigtime.

I hear ya JC. And if Miami pulls off an upset win over any decent team it's because that team played bad, not because of the Phins playing good.

Too bad Rodney Dangerfield isn't still alive to purchase this team.

Respect--may no longer be the right word to characterize teams or franchises. Teams rise and fall. Some teams don't quite fall as far as others; same is true about rising.

A better word, a more descriptive word might be "prestige or prestigious."

The presence of Shula and Robbie created a franchise that became something special. It took years for that "prestige" to melt away. It began when Jimmie Johnson replaced Shula and our prestige started to really plummet with that big loss that ended Johnson's and Marino's career. It spiraled out of control and hit rock bottom when the team went 1-15. Parcells, et al, did little to regain anything. It was clearly evident when the Dolphins were not able to secure any noteworthy coach to replace bumbling Sparano that our prestige was gone.

We are ignored. Our franchise is in the "has been" category today. Winning is the only way back to regaining it. Winning the division, getting through the playoffs and getting into the SB would put us back on the map. The ownership has to present themselves better too. winking smiley
