Should we expect alot of Tebow this week?

We haven't seen a lot of Tebow from the Jets yet this year. Are they going to use him against us this week?

I hope so. I'd love to see us squash him.

Could be. Their regular running game isn't going to be any more successful than the Texans', and they don't have an Arian Foster type.
They might try to get it going with the Wildcat.

Playing Tebow would be a win/win for us.

I expect Tebow to suck. But if for some reason he doesn't suck, there will be a QB controversy of biblical proportions in New York.

It would be fun to sit back and just watch the Jets implode yet again.

A good point....so I hope they put Tebow in, he gets a couple first downs on 3rd and short during the first half. We are winning 42-3 in the 4th quarter when Tebow comes in again and leads three TD drives, getting two point conversions on each. final score 56-19 Phins. Fans call for Tebow to start all week next week.

You know Sparano is chomping at the bit to grind Irelands nose in it after he fired him.

You can bet he has some trickery up his sleeve if Sanchez struggles. He had a 37% completion rate last week vs Pit. 10/27/138/1

The Jets Defense allowed only 66 yards rushing but got toasted in the passing game. Roethlisberger completed over 77% of his passes with 2 TD's.

Careful what you wish for fellas....I hope too emberass them but don't forget we still have growing pains.

Tebow is not that good but he is a big mass of meat that can move a football and we can't seem to stop the run

Is there really any good chance that Tebow will even get into the game? I mean Sanchez played pretty well this week.

Sporano has been practicing his fist pumps all week. I'm looking for them to kick about 4 field goals.

I think I heard Kevin Burnett give a pretty good answer to this question paraphrased- If the Jets are up we will see more of him, if they are down we will see less of him. Somewhere between 3-15 plays depending on the score. But either way, we just have to stop the run.
THe Wildcat is effective, because you have a blocker for every defensive guy on the line, but you still have to make all those blocks, and their are alot of them... If one or 2 defensive players beat their block, the wildcat is not effective...Or if you can sneak up a secondary player to offset the even odds...

What? we can't stop the run? thats the one thing we are great at on defense. We held McFadden to a 1.6 ypc. Oakland had like 30 yards rushing. We know how to stop the run. We still are having problems in pass coverage especially when we play zone or have Nolan Carroll matched up against a good WR in man. Sean Smith and Reshad Jones are starting to lock things down a little though. What we really need is another good CB so we can play Richard Marshall in slot and we need a centerfield type S, with speed, to cover up mistakes and make plays. Maybe Clemons and Carroll can be those two guys but I doubt it.

And Chyren, Sanchez had a great game week 1 but he played horribly last week against the Steelers.

Somebody heard the same commentary the other day as I did.

We stop the hell out of the run. So much so that I truly like seeing us defend 3rd and short instead of 3rd and long. I may be wrong, but it sure seems like we are more consistent at stopping 3rd and short because teams try to run against us.

LASTT YEAR we couldn't stop the run but werre better stopping the pass. This year seems to be the opposite.

?????

We were 3rd vs the rush and 25th vs the pass in 2011.

(Probably) if the situation calls for it. If the Jets are playing well (and winning or a little behind) then Sanchez will stay in.

Highly doubtful we will see Tebow very much.

I wouldn't be surpised to see Sparano wanting to push it if it were successful, but to be honest, I'd be more worried about the passing game.

Hoping the defense continues to improve.

It would be really nice to see us run effectively on the jets

Despite the Sanchez hype, the Jets are not a passing team. They like to run.

We have a chance to win, no matter the QB.
