if Hogan wasn't hyped up by Hard Kocks he would have been let go on cut down day and no one would have cared. Big difference between him and Welker---Welker had a good college career at WR and could actually play, Hogan never played WR in his life until his last year of college, if even then (maybe he was a DB?)
we need to stop taking/keeping players based on "potential" and get guys who can actually play football.

hogan was on the PS so we didn't need to make any roster moves to keep him, in fact we don't even have 53 currently on the roster. It was not a matter of space, it's a matter that he isn't a very good football player.
I don't have a problem if they kept him in the PS, but this thought that he is some future Wes Welker is based only on the Hard Knocks hype and the fact that he is white.
but regardless they should cut NeNe who is garbage.

I think u need to give Rishard Mathews some snaps. Try and get people like Marlon Moore some chances. Lets see who wants to make something happen.. Sometimes when you give some young guy an opportunity, and he knows he is not gonna get very many, he plays each snap like it could be his last...It also makes the other guys feel threatened, and sometimes they raise their play... We need to mix it up until something starts to click... Like rotating out lines in hockey....that is what our WR corp should look like..lol...

Nietzsche
He has no experience. He played 1 year of college football (Monmouth), and he played DB most of the time, only catching 12 passes as a WR. He looked good getting open against Vincent Agnew and Marcus Brown and Kevyn Scott, who are all now unemployed. Against the ones, he was exposed. You saw it on Hard Knocks. The WR coach said he didn't play like a 200-lb WR, that he played like a guy who was 180.
Mark, it all comes down to the point being that if you have space on the roster and/or practice squad for Nee Nee na na, then you have a space on the roster to substitute about a million of other guys instead of HIM including Hogan. So why are we picking on Hogan when Nee Nee is still on the roster. And starting even.

I like Cunningham too. Too bad he chose the Eagles PS over ours---despite the ability to get playing time for us and little chance of it with Philly. Says a lot

Not about race, looks like hogans ability of getting open ran out. Looks like the 7-11 is now bankrupt.
Never understood the nickname Reggie gave him. Kind of stupid actually considering 7 eleven was originally known for being open from 7am to 11pm. hence the name. (although they were open 7 days a week.)
I guess in reality he was only open 16 hours a day.
