John Jerry's block on Daniel Thomas screen play

John Jerry made a heck of a block on the screen to Thomas.

15 yards down the field and dead on. I think our O-line can really be good this year if they stay healthy

15 yards down field?

Jerry must have been exhausted.

Maybe he's like a really big version of Larry Little?

John Jerry played good in pre season, he was knocking people off the LOS...He is tough guy..........I think someone turned on the switch this year and thats a good thing. We do not have to worry about a right guard for a while now.

If jonathan martin turns out great, the phins OL will be very good for a while...

Long - incognito - pouncy - jerry - martin

IMO if we were able to move a very good texans Dline and run well then we will move just about anybody else out of the way...It halps we have bush running the show too but just saying.

And stay injury free. Long!smileys with beer

What about Donald Thomas? Seems we get excited about young O-Linemen that turn out to garbage in the long run.

Donald Thomas had the fastest ascension and subsequent total crash of any OL I've been aware of. I remember the DL dudes saying how "heavy" (i.e., powerful) he was and... 1st game breaks into pieces and seemingly has a nervous breakdown afterwards.

The NFL must be such an intense GRIND that few guys can deal with the demands. It has to be a LOT harder than it looks from casual observation. And the dudes that make it look easy are really pretty amazing. I suppose...

Did you notice the starting LG for Houston? Wade Smith who was drafted in the 3rd round by Miami. He has been a starter for the past 6 yrs.

I'm surprised he's still around. He converted from TE in college, and we tried him at LT...which was a disaster. Glad to see he's found a home.
