At least we had the 72 Dolphins and two hall of fame QBs. One good thing about being my age is that I at least got to enjoy two Superbowl victories. I hope my sons will be able to say the same someday.
The difference today in 2012 is not much. But overall we have enjoyed a winning franchise over the years. During the Marino era we made it deep into the playoffs several times and where looked at as a top franchise up until around the Dave Wanny era. As a fan, up until 2005, I felt each year the phins had a chance to win it all. Since Cam Cameron's tenure I don't have that feeling anymore which is sad. I hope we can turn it around... One day.
Hey, Cleveland has a Pro Bowl LT making 10s of millions too! The building block of any successful franchise.
Weedon looks even crappier than RT, and he's like 10 years older, so I think we've got them beat there. Plus Miami has face eating zombies and Club Liv right in the stadium!
Although I did visit Cleveland last year to see the phins lose to them, and I must say I was very impressed with the town. Pro Football HOF was fantastic, and the Rock and Roll HOF was also a lot of fun. Stadium is right downtown, walking distance from hotel. Really enjoyed my time there. Everything is very reasonably priced. But the team has sucked forever.

still it was a fun place to visit. I actually agree that Madonna and especially B Boys should be in before overrated bands like KISS and Rush
(....ducking . . . )

Man, there goes your credibility!
But I agree---the HOF was a great place to visit. Jimi Hendrix's stage costumes were worth the price of admission all on their own.
I never liked Kiss. I like the song Tom Sawyer by Rush, the rest just sounds too whiney. I am a huge B Boys fan, and don't like Madonna but she was a bigger deal in terms of music history than Rush or Kiss so I can see how they'd vote her in before the rest.

dont you have any children that eats compotes?...OOOPS you a child yourself.
Cleveland doesnt have an NBA championship Trophy let alone multiple like we do..... lol...
We have serious dysfunction going on at the upper levels of this organization... We are having a guy rebuild the roster who built the first roster that needed to be rebuilt. That is like hiring a construction company to build you a building, the building is a disaster, needs to be rebuilt and or remodeled, and you hire the same company that put you in this disasterous position in the first place, how can you have any confidence. You are in this position because of them... I think that is the definition of insanity.
But hiring a worse company, only make things collapse into a downward spiral. Takes smart people with big balls to make those decision and lead them... Who we got? i rest my case....

If you are going to insult somebody at least take the time to make sure the insult is correctly spelled. It is "compota" which is spanish for baby food.
Difference between us and Cleveland? The Fans. Our's sleep at the game or don't show up (which I can't say I blame them) Browns are fanatical

Ouch. I can't begin with how wrong you are. Madonna was NOT a bigger deal in music history than KISS. KISS redefined hard rock from just music to a performance art. Rush has been making music for 30 years.
B Boys are useless junk, and Madonna does dance music. Hardly R&R.

The root word must be the same but the most common connotation in English is the little bowl of fruit off to the side of a big stack of pancakes you'd get at a restaurant.
There was someplace in Northern Florida I used to go, hell if I can remember where, but you'd get a stack of pancakes, maple syrup, and a hot compote on the side of blueberries or boisenberries, or maybe a mixture of them. I'd usually dump the compote on top of the pancakes and then drown the entire stack of pancakes in syrup. That was good eatin'!

Wow, A MONKEES reference in a Miami Dolphins forum
Agree on this, but also other bands such as Journey and Styx should also be in the RRHOF.
I wish this year's Monkees' tour (Mike, Peter and Micky) would come to Florida. Saw last years concert in Pompano (Prior to Davy Jones' passing)- great, great show.

Thanks JC..
BTW you just reminded me when i used to go to NC to pickup trucks and bring them to miami....about 900 miles.....we used to stop by a restaurant named waffle house......there are none of these in miami
and we used to order those big waffles with syroup....Delicious...Bacon hash browns and scrabled eggs on the side....for breakfast....
I think ive been to NC about 65 times in my lifetime....and about 50 percent we stopped at wafflehouse the other 50 we stopped at a little buffet restaurant the call golden corral.....You pay about 9 bucks and eat all you want....real nice clean food too....
Havent been to NC for a while now....since things got so rough with the regular doctor checkups you need to have in order to bring trucks from there.....Lots of requirements now days...Highway patrol is real tough up there.

Those places are big chains that somehow didn't make it to S. FL. But the place I"m thinking of was a stand-alone place I'm pretty sure. Or a much smaller chain that probably doesnt' exist anymore.
