Thanks...I'm nowhere near cool enough to have known who Pavement was. ETA: Just listened to Crooked Rain. Drummer is good, but no Neal Peart  . Vocals and guitar are (purposely) dissonant / out of tune. Not my favorite style but at it gives them a definitive sound so that's a major  in the music world.
