Samsam, berk, 2-2 with the series coming back home... Still scrapping on Indiana's court with out Bosh...

great win but what a struggle. good to see miami play with heart. but can we expect 70 out of wade and lbj every night? we won't go far if that's the game plan. but very relieved after this game. we need bosh back in a big way.
I am ending my sports boycott for now!

I'm feeling more confident that the Heat can beat the Pacers without Bosh and I think they could beat the 76ers without Bosh. Worried about potentially facing Boston minus Bosh.
Good win today. Heat need their three point specialists to start making threes. Battier, Miller, and Rio have been ice cold of late. Haslem's jumper waking up is a good sign.

The important part, is that the 70 points came from mainly attacking the basket... As long as we attack the basket and rebound, we can beat these guys.. We lose when the team gets lazy and start settling for far to many jump shots...

I don'think they have the stamina, especially lbj who's played like this every minute--wade has gotten some rest and coasted at times. I think that more than anything is what was "wrong" with lbj in the finals last year---just out of gas.
I put it at 50-50 to get out of the pacers series---next game at home will be absolutely critical. Then we'd need a healthy bosh back and players like battier and miller stepping up and UD keeping it up from last game with his shooting, to have any chance at winning it all.

I think LBJ has the energy stamina, as long as they keep giving Wade, whatever they gave him at half time break, he should be alright.. My boy and fellow gator Udonis, has to keep making shots and crashing boards, like he did in the second half as well. No doubt they are gonna have to fight for it alot harder with intense hustle till Bosh gets back.

They didnt do it all themselves hasleam had a good shooting game and chalmers got a few points as well....If the bench do not score points we are toast am telling you..
We need bosh to dominate and stay with the best teams like the celts that is if we get to the conference finals.
If the big 3 play well we have a shot against anybody....If just one of them is missing then we are toast...Trust me...
And iam the biggest heat homer.
GO heat.
PS. As you can see iam not building any hopes like last year....just so that if they do not win a championship, i will not have a stomach ache for a week.

I hope you are right and we advance to the east finals at least.

I think a lot of this is coaching...unfortunately. We have talent, but these guys are often left watching the other 3 rather than playing their game.
> 1. battier stinks shooting but plays good defense
> at times...
Battier is better than he's played at times. True, he's mostly a defensive guy, but we'll need him if we make it to the finals and have to guard Durant.
> 2. James Jones stinks
This guy is an enigma. He can be a dead-on deadly 3-point shooter...or he can completely disappear. He's been doing a disappearing act lately.
> 3. we have no center whatsoever.
Not in the traditional sense, but Dwight Howard is out of the playoffs. So, unless the Lakers make the finals, there won't be another team we meet with a legit center.
> 4.Miller is an injured wreck bust.
Yeah...well. If he can hang on long enough, he can contribute. But, yeah, he's been a big disappointment since he's been here.
I am looking forward to watching the Spurs and Thunder wear each other out in a rugged seven game series. Hoping that whoever wins won't have much left in the tank for the finals.
I had to go with my home, JC, so its on with the Thunder. Kinda sad though because I know that the new coach will get all the blame. First time I have seen one of my teams beat wherein I was rooting for the other side.
By the way, JC, are you channeling Caporegime Clemenza, "won't see them no more." LOL. LOL. LOL.

I know....the Lakers sleep with the fishes.
I've never been anywhere near Oklahoma but still I'd have no problem with a newer team winning. May the Celtics meet the Thunder in the finals!!
Furthermore, I'm in a similar situation as you--I grew up in Miami but now live in Boston. The Heat didn't exist when I was a kid, so I was a Celtics fan early on. I wouldn't suffer any major depression if the Heat ended up beating the Celtics either.
I told you guys we would defintely win 2 of the next 3.........
Now chances are statistical very high we win the series, as stated by several analyst 83 percent of the time the team that wins game 5 in a 2-2 series, goes on to win the series,.... How many did we win by last night 30 pts... Pacers didnt know what hit them literally... Hansboro swung first, but I doubt he will take a shot at Wade again...

next game in indy will be huge. we SHOULD win but if we come out and lay a stinker, the pressure will be huge again in game 7. I don't want it to get that far.
as for Boston, assuming we get there, they always give us huge problems. I know we beat them last year but that was essentially without Rondo who kills us. It will be a tough series.
But I am not writing the pacers' series off just yet. This team doesn't do so great when it gets overconfident, which is why the struggles this round may actually have been a good thing. Things went a little too easy last night, but if Granger is out that helps for sure
We need a 100% healthy bosh back pretty soon though. Not sure if that's gonna happen.

Yes. I hope and pray he is healthy to play in that series.
I think we win both. My head says Philly has no shot against us and Boston has a small one, so I want Philly, but the fan in me wants to take down Boston, which would be sweet. But if I had to pick I hope Philly wins.

Trust me, Boston is limping through the playoffs as well. Allen can barely stand up, Bradley is out, Garnett and Pierce are showing their age.
Doesn't stop me from rooting for them, of course. But even if the C's make it out of this seven-game series, thet are going to have trouble going the distance vs. Miami.
