I deal with situations like this all of the time , more people do this then you think. At least once a week in a city of 250,000. But when you see someone who was so strong , so full of life , so much to live for do it , it really makes you stop and go......whoa. Can't even fathom the pain he must have been feeling.

Yes, and long-term use of steroids can lead to much worse testosterone drops when steroids are stopped than if you didn't use them at all.

No disrespect intended, but this sounds like Final Destination type stuff.

Yeah, Treasure, it's hard to fathom that act if you have children, I have two sons in their 30's, that you could do that considering the effect it would have on them, and even moreso particularly if they are young but I guess that's why suicide itself is an unfathomable action. You can't make sense out of doing it for any reason really and that's why those people are just in a place that the rest of us can't understand.

I can understand what your saying to a point. But try to have some empathy. This guy was the King Shit on the chargers for a long time. He floated on airwhen he walked. When he left the NFL it all stopped. As happens with many other players , they made bad investments and were experiencing money problems. You and I are used to living on $50-80k a year. We have adapted our lives and are comfortable. You have an ex wife and properties that a person making 5 million a year own and suddenly you have no income it can be devestating. Add to that a brain injury that makes it more difficult to deal with. And you have a tragedy wanting to happen.

he tried to kill himself by driving off a cliff......nobody else saw that? Sad.

I felt so bad for his mom when whey interviewed her on tv..It must be terrible to lose a son. I felt her pain bigtime.

We the old people are supposed to go first.

She was probably so proud of him. Really a tragedy.

Chargers to have an event in memory of his life on Friday at the stadium

This is a perplexing one. My sister lives around the corner from him and was talking to him at the beach last saturday and said he seemed fine. On Monday he was at Tim Browns golf tournament, and again he seemed to be his usual jovial self?
