A week ago he gave us a "C" for drafting a QB that wouldn't contribute for a year or two. Now he says that QB has to play because he's the most ready of the three.
What changed this week? Someone finally pointed out to him that our OC was Tannehill's HC in college? Or did he just watch Gruden's QB camp with Tannehill...???
lololol.
I give Lombardi an "F" as an analyst.

Yes. That's him Sam.
And Berk is right. to be fair, these guys have a lot of air time to fill so they are likely to flip flop on stuff unintentionally from time to time.
Still, doesn't change the fact that if you are going to give a grade to something that shouldn't be graded for 3 years or more, then you might want to be somewhat consistent for more than 5 days..
This is why drafting a second tier QB in the top ten was a bad idea.
He isn't ready. Anyone that has actually seen him play in college would know that. The only reason why "analysts" say different now is because of his draft position, and the way Ross is hyping the pick. But that doesn't mean he will be ready. It only means that his expectations for this year are getting pushed far beyond his capabilities.
It is a recipe for failure.
If the coaching staff knows what they are doing (by all signs they do) then they will not play RT this year. Ross and Ireland would likely back that as it gives them a year of breathing room before this pick has to start showing results.
