I remember how the commentators were praising john beck when we drafted him.

If i had a choice i would go Wr....But if blackmon isnt there i would then go OL with the first 5 picks.

Trust me you will hit on a couple of them if you do that...

Then you will have a dominating OL to take care of barkley next year.

IMO it will be good that we suck in 2012.

We will be a different team in 2013 with a great rookie QB and a dominating OL. It all starts there....

Hey its not like we are going to go to the playoffs in 2012.

Why not suck then...?

Then there is the people who want this team to be succesfull and win 9 games without having a shot at the playoffs....And the story will repeat itself for the next 25 years.

Even if we hit the jackpot and qualify for the playoffs........Who are we going to beat with matt moore and granpa gerard as the QBs?

Like the plan this organization had for the last 20 years worked berkley223?

Matt Kalil, OT, Southern California - 6'7 - 295
Kalil turned in a great performance at the combine. Vikings will take a long and hard look at No. 3 overall.

Will not get to us but its nice to dream isnt it. Is this guy a better version of jake long....I say better as far as his health.

There are 4 or 5 cant miss players. Too bad we were bad enough to win a few games and miss out on them. This is frustraiting but i cant wait til the draft.

I imagine we are not going to draft him, anyways.

This has an eerily similiar feel as the 07' draft, when everybody and their mother had us drafting Brady Quinn, even up to the moment Ted Ginn's name came out of the Comishes mouth.

Either Cleveland takes him at #4 or we pass on him (I could be wrong), but that is my guess.

We are all getting worked up over nothing.

Tannehill is a 3rd or 4th round pick in this draft. He has no numbers to warrent a first round pick. You might as well believe in Unicorns and Bigfoot !

He also completed 61.5% of his passes (65% in 2010) his Senior season while also having the most dropped passes of any college QB (64) from his WR's.

If he doesnt have those drops by his WR's, he is completing a whopping 73% of his passes.

taking OLs instead of QBs IS the plan for the past 5-10 years! and no it has not worked. just referring to your plan of taking all OL this draft, not the part about taking a WR (though there isn't one at 8 worth taking)

This rings a bell, kind of like Henne, without all the drops he would be such a better QB... How come the good QB's dont have this miraculous problem as others with a huge amount of WR's letting them down so often...hmmmmm..... like the chicken and the egg question.....hmmmmm

maybe CLE passes on him at 4, we pass on him at 8, and CLE takes him at the back end of the first, just like as with Quinn. And we take Ted Ginn and his family!

Except Henne and Tannehill are two completely different QB's. Henne is a statue who checks down every play. Henne also is the worst leader of a QB the Miami Dolphins have ever had......bar none.

There were multiple times the television broadcast caught other Dolphin players screaming, belittling, and mocking Chad Henne. Namely, Brandon Marshall and Anthony Fasano. QB's who are real leaders never allow that. EVER.

It's hard to project how successful any QB will be in the NFL. See Ryan Leaf, Rick Mirer, Tim Couch, Akili Smith, David Carr, etc, etc.

Lots of people here wanted Matt Flynn. Tannehill has started more games at QB the last 2 years than Flynn has started in the last 9. Tom Brady sat on the bench the first two years of his college career. It happens.
Jerrod Johnson was a Heisman candidate, and is currently on an NFL roster. We are not talking about a stiff that he sat behind.

This is not even close to true. He had a 10-5 record within his conference. Sorry, but facts are facts. What was RG3's record in head to head matchups with Tannehill? Hint, it's 0-2. Tannehill had one conference loss this year that was 53-50. Somehow, that loss is on the QB who put up 50 points? Or how about a 38-31 loss where he completed 66% of his passes with 3 TD?

As everyone knows, I was Henne's biggest supporter on this board. I am a Michigan fan, and have been a fan of Henne since the first game of his freshman year. But, Tannehill has better size, better athleticism, and is smarter than Henne.

mark your support of henne is the only thing that makes me question your judgment of tannehill!

******************************************************

I also supported Henne, although it was on another board.

Why? Because I felt he had what it took to be successful in the NFL, but in reality, IMO, the coaching staff didn't give him an honest shot. He had a strong arm, but was rarely allowed to go downfield. He missed on quite a few of those throws because, again IMO, he wasn't allowed to practice them that often. He did hit on some, so he showed that he could do it.

The coaching staff tore the confidence right out of him. He was afraid to make a mistake, thus many of the dinks-and-dunks when he needed yardage to get first downs and keep the drive moving. He was afraid to make a mistake.

I have a feeling that sometime this season, Henne will be the starter in Jax, and not because of an injury.
